Terms & Conditions
- All Firefighter equipment supplied under this Purchase Order must comply with the Dubai Municipality Fire & Life Safety Code and applicable United Arab Emirates federal regulations. Items must carry valid NFPA, EN, or ISO certifications as specified.
- The supplier shall deliver all Firefighter equipment to the designated Dubai Civil Defence facility within the United Arab Emirates no later than 15 July 2025. Late delivery shall incur a penalty of 1% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day of delay.
- All Firefighter personal protective equipment must be new, unused, and accompanied by manufacturer warranties of no less than five (5) years. SCBA units must include a minimum of two spare cylinder sets per unit.
- Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the supplier's designated UAE bank account. The advance payment of 30% (AED 612,271.50) shall be released within seven (7) business days of Purchase Order acceptance. The remaining 70% shall be paid within fourteen (14) days following successful inspection and acceptance of all Firefighter equipment by the Dubai receiving authority.
- The supplier is responsible for all customs clearance, import duties, and logistics within the United Arab Emirates. All goods must be shipped to the free zone or bonded warehouse in Dubai as directed by the buyer.
- A comprehensive training session for Dubai Firefighter personnel on the operation, maintenance, and storage of all newly procured equipment shall be conducted by the supplier at no additional cost. Training shall take place at the Dubai Firefighter Training Academy.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Dubai under the rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).
- The supplier warrants that all Firefighter equipment is free from defects in materials and workmanship and is fit for the intended purpose of active Firefighter operations in the hot and humid climate conditions of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- Any modifications or amendments to this Purchase Order must be made in writing and signed by both parties. Verbal agreements are not binding.
