All items specified in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Metropolitan Fire and Rescue Service central depot located at 1 Fire Station Road, London, United Kingdom. The supplier, Guardian Fire Protection Equipment Ltd., is responsible for all packaging, insurance, and transportation costs associated with delivering the Firefighter equipment to the designated United Kingdom London address. Delivery must be completed no later than 15 August 2025. Partial deliveries are not permitted unless prior written approval is granted by the Procurement and Logistics Division. All Firefighter gear must be accompanied by individual certificates of conformity, test reports, and manufacturer warranties. The supplier must ensure that all equipment meets or exceeds the relevant British Standards (BS) and European Norms (EN) applicable to Firefighter protective equipment used within the United Kingdom.
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Metropolitan Fire and Rescue Service (hereinafter "the Buyer") and Guardian Fire Protection Equipment Ltd. (hereinafter "the Supplier") for the supply of Firefighter equipment and related services within United Kingdom London.
- All Firefighter items supplied under this Purchase Order must comply with current UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and applicable EN/BS standards. Non-compliant items will be rejected at the Buyer's expense.
- The Supplier warrants that all Firefighter equipment is new, unused, and free from defects in materials and workmanship. A minimum warranty period of five (5) years applies to all structural protective clothing and SCBA units, and two (2) years applies to electronic devices including thermal imaging cameras and radios.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the Supplier, provided that all Firefighter items have been inspected, accepted, and confirmed as conforming to the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order.
- The Supplier shall provide a dedicated after-sales support line for all Firefighter equipment supplied, available Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00 UK time, for the duration of the warranty period. Response time for critical Firefighter equipment failures (e.g., SCBA malfunction) shall not exceed four (4) business hours.
- Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom London.
- The Supplier shall maintain adequate public liability insurance (minimum £10,000,000) and product liability insurance throughout the term of this Purchase Order and for the duration of all warranty obligations.
- Confidentiality: All information exchanged under this Purchase Order, including operational details of Firefighter deployments and station locations within United Kingdom London, shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent.
- This Purchase Order may be amended only by mutual written agreement signed by authorised representatives of both parties. No verbal modifications shall be valid.
- The Supplier acknowledges that the Firefighter equipment procured under this Purchase Order is intended for life-critical emergency response operations in the densely populated urban environment of United Kingdom London, and any failure to meet quality or delivery standards may result in termination of this Purchase Order and pursuit of damages.
