- This Purchase Order is issued by GeoSri Lanka Engineering & Consulting (Pvt) Ltd. and constitutes a binding agreement for the engagement of the Geologist and associated geological services as described herein.
- All geological fieldwork, laboratory analysis, and reporting shall be conducted in and around Sri Lanka Colombo in strict compliance with the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) guidelines and the regulations of the Department of Mines, Sri Lanka.
- The Geologist shall hold a valid professional license issued by the Institute of Geologists, Sri Lanka, and shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than LKR 50,000,000 for the duration of the contract.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of a valid tax invoice, subject to satisfactory completion and acceptance of each milestone as defined in the Purchase Order schedule.
- The Geologist shall submit a preliminary geological report within fourteen (14) working days of completing all field investigations in Sri Lanka Colombo. The final comprehensive report shall be delivered within twenty-one (21) working days of the final field visit.
- All data, samples, and reports generated under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of GeoSri Lanka Engineering & Consulting (Pvt) Ltd. The Geologist shall not disclose any project-specific geological information to third parties without prior written consent.
- Any variation or amendment to the scope of geological services must be approved in writing by both parties before execution. No verbal instructions shall be considered valid under this Purchase Order.
- In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or civil unrest affecting Sri Lanka Colombo, either party may suspend obligations with written notice within seven (7) days.
- This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Colombo under the Arbitration Act of Sri Lanka.
- The Geologist shall ensure that all field personnel comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act of Sri Lanka and shall provide appropriate personal protective equipment for all site activities.
