Terms and Conditions – Purchase Order for Hairdresser Operations in New Zealand Auckland

1. This Purchase Order is issued by Strand & Style Hairdresser, a licensed hairdressing establishment registered with the New Zealand Business Number system and operating within the Auckland Council region of New Zealand Auckland. The Hairdresser business holds a valid Business Licence and is registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST) with the Inland Revenue Department of New Zealand.
2. All prices quoted in this Purchase Order are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of applicable GST at the current rate of 15%. The supplier shall provide a valid GST invoice in accordance with New Zealand tax legislation upon delivery of goods to the Hairdresser premises in New Zealand Auckland.
3. Delivery of all goods specified in this Purchase Order shall be made to the Hairdresser's premises at 142 Karangahape Road, Ponsonby, Auckland, New Zealand Auckland. The supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and risk of loss until the goods are received and signed for by an authorised representative of the Hairdresser business.
4. The Hairdresser reserves the right to inspect all goods upon delivery. Any items found to be damaged, incorrect, or not conforming to the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order must be reported within five (5) business days of receipt. The supplier shall replace or refund non-conforming goods within ten (10) business days at no additional cost to the Hairdresser.
5. Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of the supplier's valid invoice. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's nominated New Zealand bank account. Late payments may incur interest at the rate prescribed under the New Zealand Consumer Credit Act 1994.
6. All products supplied under this Purchase Order must comply with the New Zealand Hazardous Substances and New Organisms (HSNO) Act 1996 and any applicable Australian/New Zealand Standards relevant to hair care and cosmetic products sold in New Zealand Auckland.
7. The supplier warrants that all goods supplied are new, unused, of merchantable quality, and fit for the purpose of professional Hairdresser use in a commercial salon environment in New Zealand Auckland. This warranty is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
8. This Purchase Order may only be amended in writing with the mutual consent of both parties. Any verbal agreements or modifications are not binding unless confirmed in writing and countersigned by both the Hairdresser's authorised representative and the supplier's account manager.
9. In the event of a dispute arising from this Purchase Order, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. Should resolution not be achieved within fourteen (14) days, the matter shall be referred to the Disputes Tribunal of New Zealand or the District Court of Auckland, New Zealand Auckland, as appropriate.
10. This Purchase Order does not create a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the Hairdresser and the supplier. Each party shall bear its own costs and expenses in connection with the performance of this Purchase Order.
