Terms and Conditions
- This Purchase Order is issued by Kampala Elite Hairdresser & Beauty Studio, a registered hairdresser and beauty services establishment operating in Kampala, Uganda, and constitutes a binding request for the supply of professional hairdressing equipment and consumables as itemised above.
- The supplier, East African Beauty Supplies Ltd., shall deliver all goods to the specified delivery location in Kampala, Uganda, no later than 20 June 2025. Late delivery beyond this date shall attract a penalty of 1% of the total order value per day of delay.
- All products must be genuine, unopened, and within their manufacturer's expiry date. The hairdresser reserves the right to reject any items that are damaged, counterfeit, or not conforming to the specifications stated in this Purchase Order.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the supplier's invoice, subject to satisfactory inspection and acceptance of all delivered goods at the hairdresser's premises in Kampala.
- The supplier shall provide a valid Tax Invoice compliant with the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) regulations, including the supplier's TIN, the buyer's TIN, and the applicable 18% Value Added Tax (VAT) as mandated under the Uganda VAT Act, 2001.
- All goods are delivered on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis to Kampala, meaning the supplier bears all costs, risks, and import duties up to the point of delivery at the hairdresser's location. No additional charges shall be levied on the buyer for customs clearance or local transport within Kampala.
- In the event of a dispute arising from this Purchase Order, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through amicable negotiation. Should negotiation fail, the matter shall be referred to the Uganda Arbitration Centre in Kampala for binding arbitration under the Arbitration Act, 2000.
- This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any amendments to this document must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
- The hairdresser reserves the right to modify, cancel, or amend this Purchase Order in writing prior to the supplier's confirmation of the order. Once confirmed by the supplier, modifications require mutual written consent.
