The engagement of this Human Resources Manager is intended to oversee all personnel management functions, employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, labour compliance, and organisational development for a workforce of approximately 340 employees across our Cape Town and surrounding Western Cape operations.

The Human Resources Manager shall be responsible for ensuring full compliance with the South African Labour Relations Act (Act 66 of 1995), the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (Act 75 of 1997), the Employment Equity Act (Act 55 of 1998), and all applicable regulations administered by the South African Department of Employment and Labour. The role requires a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive Human Resources experience within the South African corporate environment, with a demonstrated understanding of the unique labour market dynamics in Cape Town and the broader Western Cape province.

All amounts are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR). The supplier shall issue a valid VAT invoice in accordance with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) requirements. Payment shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the supplier's designated bank account within 30 days of receipt of a valid invoice.

The Human Resources Manager shall report for duty no later than 08:00 on 01 July 2025 at the issuing entity's premises located at 142 Main Road, Green Point, Cape Town, 8051, South Africa. The supplier is required to confirm the identity, qualifications, and professional references of the Human Resources Manager at least ten (10) business days prior to the commencement date. A comprehensive induction and orientation programme covering the company's policies, culture, and operational procedures in Cape Town shall be conducted during the first two weeks of the engagement.

1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the issuing entity and the supplier upon countersignature by both parties. All terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
2. The Human Resources Manager shall be bound by a strict confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement covering all employee data, salary structures, and proprietary business information of the issuing entity.
3. The supplier warrants that the Human Resources Manager holds a valid South African professional registration and is in full compliance with all applicable employment legislation in the Western Cape province.
4. Any variation to the scope of work, additional deliverables, or changes to the Human Resources Manager's role must be documented in a formal amendment to this Purchase Order and signed by both parties before execution.
5. The issuing entity reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice in the event of material breach, non-performance, or insolvency of the supplier.
6. All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Cape Town, South Africa, in accordance with the rules of the South African Dispute Resolution Centre. Should mediation fail, the matter shall be referred to the High Court of South Africa, Western Cape Division, Cape Town.
7. The supplier shall maintain adequate professional indemnity and public liability insurance for the duration of the engagement, with minimum cover of R5,000,000.00.
8. Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters affecting the Cape Town region, shall be addressed in accordance with Section 12 of the South African common law on contracts.
