This Purchase Order is issued by Shanghai Apex Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd. to formally procure the professional services of a qualified Industrial Engineer to be deployed at our primary manufacturing facility located in China Shanghai. The engagement of this Industrial Engineer is critical to our ongoing operational optimization, process improvement, and production efficiency initiatives across all production lines situated within the Pudong New Area industrial zone of China Shanghai.

The Industrial Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties at the China Shanghai manufacturing campus:
(a) Conduct comprehensive time studies, method studies, and work measurement across all production lines to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements that align with the strategic objectives of the China Shanghai operations;
(b) Design and implement lean manufacturing systems, including 5S methodology, Kanban inventory controls, and value stream mapping, tailored to the specific operational context of the China Shanghai facility;
(c) Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and production scheduling systems in coordination with the plant management team;
(d) Perform capacity analysis and demand forecasting to ensure optimal utilization of machinery, labor, and material resources within the China Shanghai production environment;
(e) Lead continuous improvement (Kaizen) events and Six Sigma projects aimed at reducing defect rates, minimizing waste, and enhancing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE);
(f) Coordinate with the procurement, logistics, and quality assurance departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions across the entire value chain in China Shanghai;
(g) Prepare monthly progress reports and quarterly performance summaries for submission to the senior management of Shanghai Apex Manufacturing Group.
3. Qualification Requirements for the Industrial EngineerThe Industrial Engineer assigned to fulfill this Purchase Order must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. A Master's degree or professional certification (such as CIE, PMP, or Six Sigma Black Belt) is strongly preferred. The candidate must demonstrate a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least three (3) years of direct experience working within the China Shanghai industrial sector or equivalent East Asian manufacturing environments. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is mandatory, and professional proficiency in English is required to facilitate communication with international stakeholders. The Industrial Engineer must hold a valid work permit for employment in the People's Republic of China and be in compliance with all applicable immigration and labor regulations governing foreign professionals in China Shanghai.
4. Terms and Conditions4.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the parties upon signature and shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, including but not limited to the Civil Code of the PRC and the Labor Contract Law applicable to engagements in China Shanghai.
4.2 The Supplier shall ensure that the Industrial Engineer is fully indemnified, insured, and in compliance with all local labor, tax, and social security obligations as mandated by the municipal authorities of China Shanghai.
4.3 Payment shall be processed in Chinese Yuan (CNY) via interbank transfer to the account designated by the Supplier. Invoices must be submitted by the fifth (5th) business day of each month for services rendered in the preceding month. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 0.05% per day as stipulated under this Purchase Order.
4.4 Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Supplier shall ensure an orderly transition of all project documentation, work-in-progress files, and knowledge transfer materials related to the Industrial Engineer's assignments at the China Shanghai facility.
4.5 All intellectual property, process improvements, methodologies, and documentation developed by the Industrial Engineer in the course of performing duties under this Purchase Order at the China Shanghai site shall be the exclusive property of Shanghai Apex Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd.
4.6 The Supplier warrants that the Industrial Engineer shall not be engaged in any competing activities or hold any conflicting professional obligations during the term of this Purchase Order.
4.7 Disputes arising from or in connection with this Purchase Order shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be submitted to arbitration under the Shanghai Arbitration Commission in China Shanghai.
5. Acceptance and AuthorizationBy signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Industrial Engineer at the China Shanghai manufacturing facility. This document is executed in two (2) original copies, one for each party, and carries equal legal validity.
