2. Scope of Work — Industrial Engineer Services
This Purchase Order is issued by Harare Industrial Development Corporation (HIDC) to procure the professional services of a qualified Industrial Engineer to be deployed at its manufacturing facility located in Zimbabwe Harare. The Industrial Engineer shall be responsible for conducting comprehensive process optimization, workflow analysis, capacity planning, quality control system design, and lean manufacturing implementation across all production lines. The engagement is governed by the terms set forth in this Purchase Order and the attached Statement of Work (SOW-2025-IE-007).

4. Terms and Conditions
4.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between HIDC and Mavuto Engineering & Consulting Services (Pvt) Ltd for the provision of Industrial Engineer professional services in Zimbabwe Harare. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Zimbabwean Labour Act [Chapter 28:01] and applicable occupational health and safety regulations.
4.2 The Industrial Engineer assigned under this Purchase Order must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized institution, possess at least 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environments, and be a registered member of the Engineering Institute of Zimbabwe (EIZ).
4.3 The Supplier shall ensure that the Industrial Engineer is available on-site at the Zimbabwe Harare facility for a minimum of 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 07:30 to 16:30, with flexibility for production shift requirements as directed by HIDC management.
4.4 All deliverables, including process maps, optimization reports, training materials, and KPI dashboards, shall be submitted in both hard copy and digital format (PDF and editable files) to the HIDC Project Manager within Zimbabwe Harare within five (5) business days of completion.
4.5 Payment shall be made in US Dollars (USD) via electronic bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (ZW-HRE-2025-04871) and be submitted by the 25th of each month for services rendered in the preceding month.
4.6 The Supplier warrants that all work performed by the Industrial Engineer shall be of professional quality, free from defects, and in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. HIDC reserves the right to reject non-conforming deliverables and require rework at no additional cost.
4.7 This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, HIDC shall pay for all services satisfactorily rendered up to the effective date of termination.
4.8 All intellectual property, process documentation, and proprietary data generated during the engagement in Zimbabwe Harare shall remain the sole property of HIDC. The Industrial Engineer and the Supplier shall sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to commencing work.
4.9 This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Harare, Zimbabwe, in accordance with the Arbitration Act [Chapter 7:15].
4.10 The Supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of USD 250,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order and shall provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
5. Acceptance & Authorization
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept the terms, conditions, scope of work, and financial obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of an Industrial Engineer in Zimbabwe Harare.
