3. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THIS PURCHASE ORDER

This Purchase Order is issued by Al-Madina Media & Broadcasting Services (Pvt.) Ltd., a registered media organization operating in Pakistan Karachi, for the procurement of professional-grade equipment and accessories required to support the daily field reporting, broadcasting, and editorial operations of our staff Journalist team. The Journalist personnel assigned under this Purchase Order will be deployed across various districts of Pakistan Karachi, including Karachi East, Karachi West, and Malir, to cover breaking news, investigative journalism, live television broadcasts, and digital media production. All items listed in this Purchase Order are specifically selected to meet the operational demands of a working Journalist in the fast-paced media environment of Pakistan Karachi, where field conditions, weather exposure, and security considerations necessitate durable, reliable, and high-performance equipment.

5. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the specific commercial regulations applicable in Pakistan Karachi, Sindh Province. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the competent courts of Pakistan Karachi.
2. The Supplier shall deliver all items listed in this Purchase Order to the designated delivery address in Pakistan Karachi no later than 28 June 2025. Late delivery beyond the stipulated deadline shall attract a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay.
3. All equipment procured under this Purchase Order must carry a minimum manufacturer warranty of two (2) years, with on-site service coverage available within the Pakistan Karachi metropolitan area. The Supplier shall provide a dedicated service representative stationed in Pakistan Karachi for the duration of the warranty period.
4. Payment shall be made in the following schedule: 40% advance payment upon confirmation of this Purchase Order, 40% upon delivery and physical inspection of all items at the Pakistan Karachi office, and the remaining 20% upon successful completion of a 30-day performance trial by the Journalist staff.
5. The Supplier is required to provide a detailed invoice, Sales Tax Invoice (STI) as mandated by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Pakistan, and all relevant customs documentation for any imported items listed in this Purchase Order.
6. All items must be new, unused, and in original factory packaging. Any item found to be defective, refurbished, or not matching the specifications stated in this Purchase Order shall be replaced at the Supplier's sole cost within five (5) working days.
7. The Journalist staff of Al-Madina Media & Broadcasting Services will be the primary end-users of all equipment procured under this Purchase Order. The Supplier shall provide a one-day hands-on training session for the Journalist team at the Pakistan Karachi office prior to final acceptance.
8. This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issue. Failure to confirm acceptance within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
9. Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed curfews in Pakistan Karachi, or nationwide power outages, shall exempt both parties from liability for delayed performance under this Purchase Order, provided written notice is given within 48 hours.

NOTE: All Journalist personnel assigned to use the equipment procured under this Purchase Order must be registered with the Pakistan Press Foundation and hold valid press credentials issued by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan. Equipment will be issued on a personal accountability basis, and any loss or damage due to negligence shall be subject to recovery as per company policy.
