2. Purchase Order Description

This Purchase Order is issued by Andina Media Group S.A.C., a registered media and broadcasting company headquartered in Peru Lima, for the professional engagement of Journalist María Elena Quispe Huamán. The scope of this Purchase Order covers the commissioning of a comprehensive investigative journalism project focused on environmental degradation in the Lima metropolitan basin, including field reporting, editorial production, and on-air presentation for the company's flagship news program "Noticias Andinas" broadcast from its studios in San Isidro, Lima.

4. Terms and Conditions

  1. Scope of Work: The Journalist shall deliver all journalistic content in accordance with the editorial guidelines established by Andina Media Group S.A.C. All reporting must comply with the Peruvian Constitution (Article 2, Section 2, Item 13) guaranteeing freedom of the press, as well as the Ley de Prensa No. 26524 and the Código de Ética del Periodista Peruano.
  2. Delivery Schedule: All fieldwork and reporting activities shall be conducted between June 16, 2025, and July 15, 2025, within the Lima metropolitan area. Final edited content must be delivered to the production department no later than July 18, 2025.
  3. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in two installments: 50% (PEN 35,429.50) upon signing of this Purchase Order and 50% (PEN 35,429.50) upon final delivery and acceptance of all journalistic materials. Payment will be processed via bank transfer to the Journalist's account at BCP (Banco de Crédito del Perú), Lima branch.
  4. Intellectual Property: All journalistic works, scripts, recordings, and edited content produced under this Purchase Order shall become the exclusive property of Andina Media Group S.A.C. upon full payment. The Journalist retains the right to be credited as the author/reporter in all broadcast and digital publications.
  5. Confidentiality: The Journalist agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding source identities, unpublished information, and internal editorial strategies of the company in Peru Lima, in compliance with Peruvian data protection law (Ley No. 29733 – Ley de Protección de Datos Personales).
  6. Insurance and Liability: The Journalist shall carry valid professional liability insurance for the duration of the engagement. Andina Media Group S.A.C. shall provide workers' compensation coverage for all field activities conducted within Lima.
  7. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 72 hours written notice. In the event of early termination, the Journalist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the date of termination, pro-rated accordingly.
  8. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the commercial and labor laws of the Republic of Peru. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved by the competent courts of Lima, Peru.
  9. Tax Compliance: The Journalist is responsible for declaring income received under this Purchase Order to the Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administración Tributaria (SUNAT) in Lima. A valid boleta de venta or factura must be issued for each payment received.
