3. Delivery and Installation

All items under this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Bangalore District Court Complex, Vidhana Soudha Road, Bangalore, Karnataka, India – 560001, within 45 calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. The vendor shall bear all costs of transportation, insurance, and installation within Bangalore city limits. The Judge's chamber shall be made available for installation between 09:00 AM and 05:00 PM on working days, subject to prior coordination with the Court Registrar, Bangalore.

4. Payment Terms

Payment shall be made via RTGS/NEFT to the vendor's designated bank account in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, in accordance with the following schedule: (a) 30% advance upon signing of this Purchase Order; (b) 60% upon successful delivery and physical inspection of all items by the Judge's office staff; and (c) the remaining 10% upon completion of installation, commissioning, and a 30-day defect liability period. All payments are subject to applicable TDS deductions under the Income Tax Act, 1961, as applicable in India.

5. Terms and Conditions

This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of India and shall be interpreted in accordance with the Government Procurement Rules of the State of Karnataka.
All goods must be new, of the highest quality, and free from any manufacturing defects. The vendor warrants a minimum of 2 years on all hardware items and 5 years on software licenses.
The vendor shall comply with all applicable regulations of the Supreme Court of India and the Karnataka High Court regarding judicial equipment and courtroom standards in Bangalore.
Any delay in delivery beyond the stipulated 45-day period shall attract a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%.
The Judge's office reserves the right to reject any item that does not conform to the specifications stated in this Purchase Order. Rejected items must be replaced within 7 working days at the vendor's sole expense.
Confidentiality: The vendor shall treat all information pertaining to the Judge, the court proceedings, and the Bangalore court complex as strictly confidential and shall not disclose any such information to third parties.
Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved by arbitration in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
This Purchase Order becomes void if not accepted and signed by the vendor within 14 days of the date of issue.

6. Acceptance and Authorization

This Purchase Order is issued under the authority of the Hon'ble Judge, District & Sessions Court, Bangalore, India, and is countersigned by the Court Registrar. The vendor's acceptance of this Purchase Order constitutes a binding contractual agreement for the supply of the aforementioned goods and services.
