This Purchase Order is issued by Valencia Events & Competitions S.L. (hereinafter referred to as the "Buyer") to formally engage the services of D. Alejandro Ferrán Montoya (hereinafter referred to as the "Judge") for the purpose of officiating, evaluating, and adjudicating the International Culinary & Gastronomy Competition 2025, to be held at the Centre de Congresos de la Comunitat Valenciana, located in the city of Valencia, Spain, on the dates of 22–24 August 2025.

The Judge shall be responsible for the following duties and obligations as part of this Purchase Order:

• Serving as the Lead Judge for all three competition days, evaluating entries across the categories of Traditional Valencian Cuisine, International Fusion, and Pastry & Dessert Arts.
• Applying the official scoring rubric and evaluation criteria established by the organizing committee, ensuring impartiality, consistency, and adherence to the competition regulations.
• Conducting on-site inspections of participant workstations, verifying ingredient sourcing, hygiene compliance, and adherence to the technical specifications outlined in the competition brief.
• Delivering written and verbal feedback to all participating teams, including a detailed justification for each score awarded, in accordance with the transparency standards required under Spanish consumer and competition law.
• Chairing the final deliberation session on 24 August 2025, where the Judge shall preside over the determination of the Grand Prix winner and category-specific awards.
• Attending a mandatory pre-event briefing on 21 August 2025 at 09:00 hours at the venue in Valencia, Spain, to review logistics, safety protocols, and the final competition schedule.
• Providing a signed certification of impartiality and a declaration of no conflict of interest, as required by the regulatory framework governing professional judges in the Comunidad Valenciana.

Payment shall be made via direct bank transfer (SEPA) to the account designated by the Judge. A 50% advance payment (EUR 3,273.05) shall be due within ten (10) business days of the acceptance of this Purchase Order. The remaining 50% balance (EUR 3,273.05) shall be settled within fifteen (15) business days following the completion of all Judge duties and the delivery of the final certification documents. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established under Article 20 of the Spanish Ley 3/2004 de 29 de diciembre, de lucha contra la morosidad en las operaciones comerciales.

• This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain, with specific reference to the commercial regulations applicable in the Comunidad Valenciana and the city of Valencia.
• The Judge agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all competition entries, participant data, and internal deliberation notes, in compliance with the Spanish General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and the Ley Orgánica 3/2018 de Protección de Datos Personales.
• The Judge shall carry professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 300,000 for the duration of the engagement in Spain Valencia.
• Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Valencia, Spain, unless otherwise mandated by applicable Spanish legislation.
• The Buyer reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with a minimum of fourteen (14) days' written notice prior to the event, in which case the advance payment shall be refunded in full.
• The Judge's professional conduct shall be evaluated in accordance with the ethical code of the Registro de Árbitros y Jueces of the Comunidad Valenciana. Any breach of impartiality or professional standards may result in immediate termination of this Purchase Order without further compensation.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of Judge services in Spain Valencia.
