The Laboratory Technician engaged under this Purchase Order shall be responsible for performing a comprehensive range of laboratory duties, including but not limited to: preparation and analysis of clinical specimens (hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology), operation and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, calibration of diagnostic equipment, maintenance of quality control protocols, documentation of test results, and adherence to all safety and biosafety standards mandated by the Department of Health Services, Government of Nepal.

The Laboratory Technician must hold a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (BSMLT) from a recognized institution in Nepal or an equivalently accredited foreign institution. A valid registration with the Nepal Medical Council or the relevant professional body operating in Nepal Kathmandu is mandatory. The Laboratory Technician must possess a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting, preferably within Nepal Kathmandu or a comparable metropolitan healthcare environment.

4.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Nepal and shall be interpreted in accordance with the prevailing procurement regulations of the Government of Nepal, including the Public Procurement Act and its associated rules.

4.2 The Laboratory Technician or Laboratory Technician team engaged under this Purchase Order shall report directly to the Head of the Laboratory Department at the Central Medical Research Institute, Nepal Kathmandu, and shall comply with all institutional policies, biosafety guidelines, and ethical standards applicable to laboratory operations in Nepal Kathmandu.

4.3 The service provider, MediStaff Nepal Pvt. Ltd., warrants that all Laboratory Technician personnel assigned under this Purchase Order shall be fully qualified, legally authorized to practice in Nepal, and free from any disciplinary or professional sanctions. Background verification and credential validation shall be completed prior to the commencement of duties in Nepal Kathmandu.

4.4 The Laboratory Technician shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient data, research findings, and proprietary information encountered during the course of laboratory work at the Nepal Kathmandu facility. Any breach of confidentiality shall result in immediate termination of this Purchase Order and legal action as per Nepali law.

4.5 Payment shall be processed in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) via bank transfer to the account designated by the supplier. Invoices must be submitted within five (5) business days of the end of each calendar month. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed by the Nepal Rastra Bank.

4.6 This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Laboratory Technician personnel shall be given a reasonable transition period to ensure continuity of laboratory operations at the Nepal Kathmandu site.

4.7 Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Nepal Kathmandu in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Nepal.

Note: This Purchase Order for Laboratory Technician services in Nepal Kathmandu becomes effective upon signature by both the authorized representative of the issuing institution and the authorized representative of the service provider.
