This Purchase Order is issued by Savanna Diagnostics & Research Laboratories (Pty) Ltd for the procurement of professional Laboratory Technician services to be rendered at our primary facility located in South Africa Johannesburg, specifically at the Sandton campus. The Laboratory Technician engaged under this Purchase Order shall be responsible for the full spectrum of diagnostic laboratory operations, including but not limited to the preparation, analysis, and reporting of clinical specimens across haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology departments.

The Laboratory Technician must hold a minimum qualification of a National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (NQF Level 6) or a BSc in Medical Laboratory Science, registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). The candidate must possess a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification experience in a clinical laboratory environment within South Africa Johannesburg or a comparable metropolitan laboratory setting. Proficiency in automated analyser systems (including Sysmex, Roche, and Beckman Coulter platforms) is a mandatory requirement under this Purchase Order.

6.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (Act 75 of 1997), the Labour Relations Act (Act 66 of 1995), and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993).

6.2 The Laboratory Technician shall commence duties no later than 1 July 2025 at the Savanna Diagnostics facility in South Africa Johannesburg. A probationary period of three (3) months shall apply in accordance with South African employment legislation.

6.3 Payment terms: Net 30 days from the date of a valid tax invoice submitted by the supplier. All payments shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the supplier's designated bank account in South Africa Johannesburg.

6.4 The Laboratory Technician shall be bound by strict confidentiality and data protection obligations in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA, Act 4 of 2013) and the HPCSA ethical guidelines.

6.5 The supplier warrants that the Laboratory Technician engaged under this Purchase Order shall be fully competent, legally authorised to practise in South Africa, and free from any disciplinary proceedings before the HPCSA.

6.6 Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, all outstanding invoices for services rendered up to the termination date shall be settled in full.

6.7 All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Johannesburg, South Africa, in accordance with the rules of the South African Dispute Resolution Centre.

This Purchase Order is valid upon signature by both parties. The supplier's acceptance of this Purchase Order constitutes full agreement to all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined herein regarding the Laboratory Technician services in South Africa Johannesburg.
