1. SCOPE OF WORK – MASON SERVICES IN NIGERIA ABUJAThis Purchase Order is issued by Abuja Construction & Infrastructure Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Purchaser") to Gbenga O. Adeyemi Masonry Services (hereinafter referred to as the "Mason Contractor") for the provision of professional mason and masonry services in connection with the residential development project located at Plot 45, Jabi Expressway, Nigeria Abuja. The Mason Contractor shall be responsible for all bricklaying, blockwork, plastering, and related masonry activities as specified in the attached architectural and structural drawings (Drawing Set No. ABJ-RES-2025-018-A through F).
The Mason Contractor acknowledges that this Purchase Order constitutes a binding contractual agreement for the execution of masonry works within the Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria Abuja, and agrees to perform all duties in accordance with the Nigerian Building and Road Works Corporation (NABRDC) standards and the Abuja Building Code Regulations.

The Mason Contractor shall mobilize all mason workers, apprentices, and equipment to the project site in Nigeria Abuja no later than 5 June 2025. The total duration for completion of all masonry works specified in this Purchase Order shall not exceed ninety (90) calendar days from the date of commencement. A detailed weekly work plan for the mason crew shall be submitted to the Purchaser's site engineer every Friday by 15:00 hours.
All mason materials (concrete blocks, clay bricks, cement, sand, and aggregates) shall be sourced from approved suppliers within the Nigeria Abuja metropolitan area to minimize logistics costs and ensure timely delivery to the site. The Mason Contractor is responsible for the safe storage of all masonry materials on-site in accordance with OSHA Nigeria guidelines.
4. PAYMENT TERMSPayment against this Purchase Order shall be made in the following milestones, all denominated in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and payable via bank transfer to the Mason Contractor's designated account:
- Milestone 1 (25%): NGN 11,523,731.25 – upon successful mobilization and completion of foundation blockwork and ground-floor external walls.
- Milestone 2 (30%): NGN 13,828,477.50 – upon completion of all first-floor mason blockwork and internal partition walls.
- Milestone 3 (30%): NGN 13,828,477.50 – upon completion of all plastering works (internal and external) and boundary wall construction.
- Milestone 4 (15%): NGN 6,914,238.75 – upon final inspection, snag list clearance, and handover of all mason works.
Each payment shall be made within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Purchaser's written approval of the respective milestone. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as stipulated under the Nigerian Contract Act.
5. TERMS AND CONDITIONS5.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes arising shall be resolved through arbitration in Nigeria Abuja in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, LFN 2004.
5.2 The Mason Contractor warrants that all masonry work shall be executed by qualified and experienced mason artisans under the direct supervision of a registered mason foreman. The Mason Contractor shall provide proof of workers' compensation insurance covering all mason personnel on-site.
5.3 The Mason Contractor shall comply with all environmental regulations of the Abuja Environmental Protection Agency (AEPMA) and shall ensure proper disposal of masonry waste, broken blocks, and excess mortar in designated areas.
5.4 The Purchaser reserves the right to inspect mason work at any stage. Any work found to be substandard shall be rectified by the Mason Contractor at no additional cost within forty-eight (48) hours of written notice.
5.5 The Mason Contractor shall not sublet or assign any portion of the masonry works under this Purchase Order without the prior written consent of the Purchaser.
5.6 A defect liability period of twelve (12) months shall apply to all mason works. During this period, the Mason Contractor shall repair any cracks, spalling, or structural defects in the masonry at its own cost.
5.7 This Purchase Order shall remain valid for sixty (60) days from the date of issue. If the Mason Contractor does not accept and return a signed copy within this period, the Purchase Order shall lapse automatically.
