1. Description of Services — Mathematician EngagementThis Purchase Order is issued by Meridian Analytics Pte. Ltd. to formally engage the services of a qualified Mathematician through Apex Mathematical Consulting LLP. The Mathematician shall be deployed to the Singapore Singapore office premises and shall provide advanced mathematical modelling, algorithmic design, statistical analysis, and quantitative research support for a period of twelve (12) months commencing 1 July 2025. The engagement of this Mathematician is critical to the completion of the company's proprietary risk-assessment framework and machine-learning pipeline, both of which require rigorous mathematical expertise in stochastic processes, linear algebra, and numerical optimisation. All deliverables produced by the Mathematician shall be conducted in accordance with the standards set forth by the Singapore Singapore professional services regulatory body and shall comply with all applicable data-protection legislation in force within Singapore Singapore.

The Mathematician engaged under this Purchase Order shall be responsible for the following key deliverables, all to be completed within the Singapore Singapore operational environment:
- Design and implementation of a comprehensive stochastic risk model incorporating Monte Carlo simulation, Markov chain analysis, and partial differential equation solvers, to be delivered by 30 September 2025.
- Development of an optimisation algorithm for portfolio rebalancing that minimises variance subject to regulatory constraints applicable in Singapore Singapore, to be delivered by 31 December 2025.
- Authorship of three (3) peer-reviewed technical white papers, each exceeding 15,000 words, documenting the mathematical theory, proofs, and empirical validation results. These documents shall be archived at the Singapore Singapore corporate library and made available to the internal research division.
- Conduct of eight (8) structured training workshops for the in-house team, each session lasting four (4) hours, held at the Singapore Singapore training facility located at 12 Marina Boulevard.
- Provision of a final comprehensive report summarising all mathematical work performed, recommendations for future research directions, and a detailed handover document to ensure continuity of the Mathematician's contributions beyond the engagement period.
- 4.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Purchasing Party and the Supplier upon signature by both parties. All terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore and the Singapore Singapore jurisdiction.
- 4.2 The Mathematician shall maintain full professional confidentiality regarding all proprietary data, algorithms, and intellectual property belonging to Meridian Analytics Pte. Ltd. A separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been executed and is incorporated by reference into this Purchase Order.
- 4.3 Payment shall be made in quarterly instalments of SGD 79,215.75, due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. Invoices shall be submitted to the accounts-payable department at the Singapore Singapore headquarters.
- 4.4 The Supplier warrants that the Mathematician engaged holds a minimum of a Doctorate (PhD) in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative discipline from a recognised university, and possesses a minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in applied mathematics.
- 4.5 The Purchasing Party reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice in the event of material breach, sustained underperformance by the Mathematician, or insolvency of either party. In such an event, payment shall be made only for services rendered up to the date of termination.
- 4.6 All work performed by the Mathematician under this Purchase Order shall be conducted in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore Singapore and all relevant financial-services regulations issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
- 4.7 Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Singapore Singapore in accordance with the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).
- 4.8 The Mathematician shall be provided with a dedicated workstation, secure network access, and all necessary software licences at the Singapore Singapore office. The Purchasing Party shall not be liable for the Mathematician's personal travel, accommodation, or subsistence expenses unless pre-approved in writing.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Mathematician in Singapore Singapore. This document shall be executed in two (2) original copies, one retained by each party.
