2. Scope of Work – Mechanical Engineer Services
This Purchase Order is issued by Al Nakheel Industrial Contracting LLC, a registered entity operating in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to procure the professional services of a qualified Mechanical Engineer for the duration of the project described herein. The Mechanical Engineer shall be responsible for the design, review, and supervision of mechanical systems including HVAC installations, piping networks, fire protection systems, and process equipment for the Al Reem Island Commercial Development Phase II project located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

4. Terms and Conditions
4.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the specific regulations applicable to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in accordance with the UAE Civil Transactions Law (Federal Law No. 5 of 1985) and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Abu Dhabi Courts.
4.2 The Mechanical Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid professional license issued by the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and must be registered with the Abu Dhabi Professional Engineers Council. All qualifications, certifications, and professional registrations must be verified prior to the commencement of work.
4.3 Payment Terms: Net 30 days from the date of receipt of a valid tax invoice issued in accordance with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations of the United Arab Emirates. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-AD-2025-04871) and include the supplier's TRN.
4.4 The Mechanical Engineer shall comply with all applicable Abu Dhabi municipal bylaws, UAE labor laws, and project-specific health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements. The supplier shall ensure that the Mechanical Engineer carries adequate professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of AED 5,000,000.
4.5 All deliverables, including design drawings, calculations, reports, and as-built documentation, shall be submitted in both hard copy and electronic format (AutoCAD, Revit, and PDF) to the project office located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
4.6 The supplier shall not subcontract any portion of the Mechanical Engineer services without prior written consent from Al Nakheel Industrial Contracting LLC. Any unauthorized subcontracting shall constitute a material breach of this Purchase Order.
4.7 This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issue. Failure to confirm acceptance within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
4.8 All prices quoted are in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of all applicable local taxes and duties unless otherwise stated. The 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) as mandated by the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 is applied separately.
