This Purchase Order is issued by Northgate Industrial Solutions Ltd. to Apex Mechanical Engineering Consultancy Ltd. for the engagement of a qualified Mechanical Engineer to provide comprehensive design, analysis, and on-site technical support services at our manufacturing facility located in United Kingdom Manchester. The Mechanical Engineer shall be responsible for the full lifecycle management of the new hydraulic press assembly line, including preliminary design reviews, finite element analysis (FEA), tolerance stack-up calculations, prototyping oversight, and commissioning support. All work shall be conducted in accordance with British Standards (BS EN ISO 9001:2015) and applicable UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations governing mechanical engineering operations within the United Kingdom Manchester metropolitan area.

The Mechanical Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties at the United Kingdom Manchester site:

• Conduct a full mechanical design review of the hydraulic press assembly line, including all structural, kinematic, and thermal components.
• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) on critical load-bearing components and submit a detailed engineering report within 10 working days of commencement.
• Prepare and issue all mechanical drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions in accordance with BS 8888 engineering drawing standards.
• Provide on-site supervision during the fabrication and installation phase at the United Kingdom Manchester facility, with a minimum of 15 working days of on-site presence.
• Oversee the commissioning and performance testing of the completed assembly line, ensuring all mechanical tolerances and safety interlocks meet the specified design parameters.
• Deliver a final Mechanical Engineer sign-off report certifying that the installation complies with all applicable UK statutory requirements and Northgate Industrial Solutions Ltd. internal quality standards.

4.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the interpretation or performance of this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom Manchester.

4.2 The Mechanical Engineer shall hold valid professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of GBP 5,000,000 and shall provide a certificate of insurance prior to commencing any work at the United Kingdom Manchester site.

4.3 All deliverables, including engineering reports, drawings, and sign-off documentation, shall be the sole intellectual property of Northgate Industrial Solutions Ltd. upon full payment of this Purchase Order.

4.4 The Mechanical Engineer shall comply with all site safety protocols, including but not limited to the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, as applicable in the United Kingdom Manchester region.

4.5 Any variation to the scope of work defined in this Purchase Order must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to execution. Unauthorised variations will not be accepted for payment.

4.6 Late delivery of any milestone deliverable shall incur a penalty of 1.5% of the relevant line item value per calendar day of delay, capped at 10% of the total Purchase Order value.

4.7 The Mechanical Engineer shall provide a weekly progress report to the Northgate project manager every Friday, detailing completed tasks, outstanding items, and any risks or delays affecting the project timeline at the United Kingdom Manchester facility.

This Purchase Order constitutes a binding offer for the services described herein. Acceptance of this Purchase Order by the supplier shall be confirmed in writing within five (5) working days of the date of issue. Failure to confirm acceptance within the stipulated period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
