This Purchase Order is issued by Tanzania Industrial Automation & Systems Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Buyer") to East African Mechatronics Solutions Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Vendor") for the provision of a qualified and experienced Mechatronics Engineer to support the Buyer's ongoing industrial automation projects in Tanzania Dar es Salaam. The Mechatronics Engineer shall be responsible for the design, development, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of integrated electromechanical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial robotics, and sensor networks across the Buyer's manufacturing and processing facilities located in Dar es Salaam.
The Mechatronics Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties and responsibilities within the operational boundaries of Tanzania Dar es Salaam:
- Design and develop mechatronic systems integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components for industrial applications.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMI interfaces for production lines.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on automated machinery and robotic systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, system schematics, and operational manuals in English and Swahili.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process automation improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian industrial safety standards and regulations as enforced by the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS).
- Provide technical training to junior engineering staff and operators at the Dar es Salaam facility.
- Monitor system performance and generate monthly technical reports for management review.

- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania and shall be interpreted in accordance with the Tanzania Contracts Act, Cap. 345.
- The Mechatronics Engineer shall be physically present at the Buyer's facility in Tanzania Dar es Salaam for a minimum of five (5) working days per week, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- The Vendor shall ensure that the Mechatronics Engineer holds a valid professional engineering license issued by the Engineering Council of Tanzania (ECT) and possesses a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant industry experience.
- All deliverables, reports, and technical documentation produced under this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive intellectual property of the Buyer upon full payment.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Vendor's designated account in Tanzanian Shillings within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice.
- The Vendor shall maintain comprehensive professional indemnity and public liability insurance coverage throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Buyer shall be liable for services rendered up to the date of termination.
- All work performed under this Purchase Order shall comply with the environmental and occupational health and safety regulations applicable in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Dar es Salaam in accordance with the Arbitration Act, Cap. 31 of the Laws of Tanzania.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Mechatronics Engineer in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
