This Purchase Order is issued by the Baghdad Regional Medical Research Directorate to procure specialized laboratory equipment, reagents, and consumables required for the ongoing work of a Medical Researcher assigned to the Infectious Disease and Molecular Diagnostics Division. All items specified in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Baghdad Regional Medical Research Directorate laboratory facility located in Al-Mansour District, Baghdad, Iraq. The supplier is responsible for transportation, customs clearance (if applicable for imported goods), and on-site installation within Iraq Baghdad. The Medical Researcher, Dr. Al-Rashid, shall be present during the installation and calibration of all major equipment to verify compliance with the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order. Delivery is required no later than 30 August 2025. A 10-business-day warranty registration period applies from the date of installation.
5. PAYMENT TERMSPayment for this Purchase Order shall be made in Iraqi Dinar (IQD) via bank transfer to the supplier’s designated account. The payment schedule is as follows: 40% advance payment upon signing of this Purchase Order; 50% upon confirmed delivery and installation in Baghdad; and 10% upon successful completion of a 30-day performance warranty period. The Medical Researcher’s supervising department head must co-sign the final payment release to confirm that all equipment meets the operational standards required for the ongoing research program.
6. TERMS AND CONDITIONS- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq and the procurement regulations of the Ministry of Health, Baghdad Directorate.
- The supplier warrants that all equipment and reagents are new, unused, and free from defects. A minimum 24-month manufacturer warranty is included for all capital equipment.
- The Medical Researcher’s laboratory shall be the sole authorized user of the procured items. Any transfer or sub-allocation of equipment requires written amendment to this Purchase Order.
- Failure to deliver within the stipulated timeframe in Iraq Baghdad shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%.
- All imported goods must comply with Iraqi Standards and Metrology Organization (ISM) regulations and the Ministry of Health import licensing requirements effective in Baghdad.
- The supplier shall provide comprehensive training for the Medical Researcher and laboratory staff on the operation, maintenance, and safety protocols of all procured equipment within 14 days of installation.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Baghdad Commercial Court in accordance with Iraqi commercial law.
- This Purchase Order becomes void if not accepted and countersigned by the supplier within 14 calendar days of the issue date.
