- This Purchase Order is issued by the Nepal Institute of Medical Research, Kathmandu, and governs the procurement of laboratory equipment and consumables exclusively for the Medical Researcher division. All items listed herein are intended to support ongoing clinical and epidemiological research programs conducted in Nepal Kathmandu.
- The supplier shall deliver all goods to the NIMR Medical Researcher Laboratory, located at P.O. Box 1846, Kathmandu, Nepal, no later than 15 August 2025. Delivery shall be made between 09:00 and 16:00 Nepal Standard Time (NPT, UTC+5:45) on any working day.
- All equipment must comply with the standards set by the Department of Drug Administration (DDA), Nepal, and the Nepal Standards and Metrology Department. The Medical Researcher team will conduct a joint inspection upon receipt. Any item found defective or non-conforming shall be replaced at the supplier's expense within 14 calendar days.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Nepal within 30 days of the date of invoice, provided that all goods have been accepted in writing by the Senior Medical Researcher, Dr. Anisha Shrestha, and the Finance Officer of NIMR Kathmandu.
- The supplier warrants that all equipment is new, unused, and free from defects for a minimum period of 24 months from the date of installation in Kathmandu. Warranty service shall be provided on-site in Nepal Kathmandu at no additional cost to the buyer.
- Installation, calibration, and operator training for the Medical Researcher staff shall be conducted on-site at the NIMR facility in Kathmandu. The supplier shall provide a minimum of 5 days of hands-on training for up to 10 Medical Researcher personnel.
- This Purchase Order is subject to the Government of Nepal Public Procurement Act, 2064 (2007) and its associated regulations. Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Nepal Arbitration Council, Kathmandu, in accordance with Nepali law.
- The supplier shall maintain full insurance coverage for all goods in transit to Nepal Kathmandu. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer only upon written acceptance at the delivery site.
- Any modification to this Purchase Order must be made in writing and signed by both parties. Verbal agreements or email communications shall not constitute a valid amendment to this document.
- The supplier acknowledges that the equipment procured under this Purchase Order will be used by qualified Medical Researcher professionals in Nepal Kathmandu for the advancement of public health research, and the supplier agrees to provide ongoing technical support for the life of the equipment.
