All items specified in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the King Fahad Medical Research Institute laboratory premises located in Al-Rawdah District, Jeddah 23436, Saudi Arabia Jeddah. The supplier is responsible for safe transport, customs clearance (if applicable for imported components), and on-site installation of all capital equipment. Installation and commissioning must be completed within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. The Medical Researcher team will be present during installation to verify functionality and receive training on all instruments.

This Purchase Order is issued in accordance with the Saudi Arabian Government Procurement Regulations and the internal procurement policies of the King Fahad Medical Research Institute. All transactions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Payment terms: 30% advance payment upon signing of this Purchase Order, 60% upon successful delivery and installation, and 10% upon completion of a 90-day performance warranty period. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Saudi Arabia Jeddah.
All equipment must comply with the standards set by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and the Saudi Ministry of Health. The Medical Researcher responsible for this project will verify regulatory compliance prior to acceptance.
The supplier warrants that all reagents, kits, and instruments are new, unused, and within their stated shelf life. A minimum of 18 months remaining shelf life is required for all consumable items at the time of delivery.
A comprehensive 24-month warranty is included for all capital equipment (Items 02, 03, and 07). The warranty covers parts, labor, and on-site service calls within the Jeddah metropolitan area, Saudi Arabia.
The supplier shall provide a minimum of 40 hours of on-site operator training for the Medical Researcher laboratory staff, covering instrument operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and data export procedures.
Any deviation from the specifications listed in this Purchase Order must be approved in writing by the Lead Medical Researcher, Dr. Sarah Al-Harbi, prior to shipment.
Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government sanctions, or pandemics affecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, shall be addressed through mutual written agreement between both parties.
All data generated using the purchased equipment and software shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of the King Fahad Medical Research Institute. The LIMS license (Item 08) must permit full data export in open formats.
This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within fourteen (14) days of the issue date. Failure to confirm acceptance within this period will result in automatic cancellation.

This Purchase Order has been reviewed and authorized by the undersigned officials of the King Fahad Medical Research Institute, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Lead Medical Researcher confirms that the items listed herein are essential for the continuation of the Oncology Genomics Study (Project MR-JED-2025-034) and that the budget allocation has been verified by the Finance Department.
