This Purchase Order is issued by Deccan AgriTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to procure the professional services of a qualified Meteorologist for a period of twelve (12) months, commencing on 1 July 2025 and concluding on 30 June 2026. The Meteorologist shall provide comprehensive weather analysis, seasonal forecasting, and climate risk assessment services specifically tailored to the agricultural and industrial operations conducted in and around India Bangalore and the broader Karnataka region.

The scope of services under this Purchase Order includes, but is not limited to:

• Weekly meteorological bulletins covering temperature, humidity, wind patterns, and precipitation forecasts for the India Bangalore metropolitan area and surrounding districts (Rural Bangalore, Mysuru, Tumakuru, and Chikkaballapura).
• Pre-monsoon and post-monsoon climate outlook reports aligned with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) seasonal forecast cycles.
• Real-time severe weather alerts and advisory communications for extreme events including heatwaves, thunderstorms, and unseasonal rainfall affecting India Bangalore.
• Customized micro-climate analysis for the buyer's agricultural estates located in the Western Ghats foothills near India Bangalore.
• Quarterly climate trend reports documenting deviations from the 30-year normal for the India Bangalore region.
• On-site consultation visits (minimum two per quarter) to the buyer's facilities in India Bangalore for direct data collection and stakeholder briefings.

Payment Terms: Payment shall be made via NEFT/RTGS to the Meteorologist's designated bank account within fifteen (15) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice. The monthly retainer shall be invoiced on the 1st of each month. All other line items shall be invoiced upon completion of the respective deliverable. Late payments shall attract interest at 1.5% per month as per the terms of this Purchase Order.

1. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of India, and any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India Bangalore, Karnataka.
2. The Meteorologist shall maintain valid professional registration with the Indian Meteorological Society and shall carry professional indemnity insurance of not less than INR 50,00,000 for the duration of this engagement.
3. All data, reports, and analyses produced under this Purchase Order shall remain the intellectual property of Deccan AgriTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The Meteorologist shall not disclose proprietary operational data of the buyer to any third party without written consent.
4. The Meteorologist shall comply with all applicable data protection regulations under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, of India, particularly when handling location-specific environmental data collected in India Bangalore.
5. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the buyer shall pay for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination.
6. The Meteorologist shall submit a written progress report to the buyer's Operations Director by the 5th of each month, summarizing all forecasts issued, alerts triggered, and advisory actions taken for the India Bangalore region during the reporting period.
7. This Purchase Order does not constitute an employment relationship. The Meteorologist is engaged as an independent professional consultant and shall be responsible for all applicable income tax obligations under the Income Tax Act, 1961, of India.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and service specifications outlined in this Purchase Order. This document constitutes a binding agreement for the procurement of Meteorologist services in India Bangalore as described herein.

This Purchase Order (PO/BLR/MET/2025/0047) is valid for acceptance within fourteen (14) days of the date of issue. After the expiry date, the terms herein shall be void unless re-issued in writing by the buyer.
