This Purchase Order is issued by Amsterdam Climate & Infrastructure Solutions B.V. to engage the services of a qualified Meteorologist, Dr. Sarah de Vries, for the provision of comprehensive meteorological consulting, forecasting, and climate risk assessment services within the municipality of Amsterdam and the broader Netherlands region. Engagement Period: The Meteorologist shall provide services from 1 July 2025 through 30 June 2026, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Purchase Order.
Place of Performance: All services shall be rendered primarily at the Buyer's offices located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with additional on-site visits to meteorological monitoring stations throughout the Amsterdam metropolitan area and the broader Netherlands as required.
Qualifications: The Meteorologist must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Sciences, be registered with the KNMI professional register, and possess at least eight (8) years of professional experience in operational meteorology within the Netherlands or the European region.
Payment Schedule: Invoices shall be submitted monthly in arrears. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice bearing the correct VAT number and Purchase Order reference. Late payments shall accrue interest at the statutory rate as defined under Dutch law (Article 6:119a of the Dutch Civil Code).
Confidentiality: The Meteorologist shall treat all data, forecasts, and internal communications as strictly confidential in accordance with the Netherlands Personal Data Protection Act (UAVG) and applicable EU data protection regulations.
Intellectual Property: All reports, analyses, and deliverables produced under this Purchase Order shall become the exclusive property of Amsterdam Climate & Infrastructure Solutions B.V. upon full payment.
Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with a written notice period of sixty (60) days. In the event of material breach, termination may be effected with fourteen (14) days' notice.
Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather events, natural disasters, or government-mandated closures within the Netherlands.
Compliance: The Meteorologist shall comply with all applicable Dutch and European regulations, including KNMI operational standards, EU environmental directives, and municipal safety protocols in Amsterdam.

This Purchase Order constitutes a binding offer for the procurement of Meteorologist services as described herein. By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, scope of work, and financial obligations set forth in this document. This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance until 14 September 2025.
