This Purchase Order is issued by the Islamabad Meteorological Research & Advisory Division to procure the professional services of a certified Meteorologist for deployment and operational support within Pakistan Islamabad. The Meteorologist engaged under this Purchase Order shall be responsible for providing comprehensive atmospheric analysis, weather forecasting, climate data interpretation, and advisory services to government agencies, agricultural departments, and public infrastructure planning bodies operating in and around Pakistan Islamabad.

  1. This Purchase Order is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. The Meteorologist services described herein shall commence no later than 1 August 2025 at the designated operational facility in Pakistan Islamabad.
  2. The Meteorologist engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Sciences from a recognized institution, along with a valid professional license issued by the Pakistan Meteorological Department or an equivalent international body.
  3. All Meteorologist services shall be rendered in accordance with the operational guidelines and reporting standards established by the Pakistan Islamabad Meteorological Research & Advisory Division. The Meteorologist shall comply with all applicable data security and confidentiality protocols.
  4. Payment terms: 30% advance upon acceptance of this Purchase Order, 40% upon completion of the first six (6) months of Meteorologist service delivery, and the remaining 30% upon successful completion of the full twelve-month engagement period. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account specified by the supplier.
  5. The Meteorologist shall be subject to a performance review at the end of each quarter. Failure to meet the agreed-upon service deliverables, including timely submission of weather forecasts and advisory reports for Pakistan Islamabad, may result in contractual penalties as outlined in the supplementary service agreement.
  6. Any modifications to the scope of Meteorologist services, changes in deployment location within Pakistan Islamabad, or adjustments to the reporting frequency must be documented in a written amendment to this Purchase Order, signed by both parties.
  7. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of this document shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Islamabad in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940.
  8. The Meteorologist shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of PKR 10,000,000 for the duration of the engagement. Proof of insurance shall be submitted prior to the commencement of services.
  9. All meteorological data, forecasts, and reports produced by the Meteorologist under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of the Islamabad Meteorological Research & Advisory Division and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written authorization.
  10. This Purchase Order does not constitute an employment contract. The Meteorologist is engaged as a contracted professional service provider and shall not be entitled to employee benefits unless separately stipulated in a supplementary agreement.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, and scope of Meteorologist services outlined in this Purchase Order for deployment in Pakistan Islamabad. This document constitutes a binding procurement agreement effective upon the last signature.
