This Purchase Order authorizes the procurement of professional Meteorologist services to be rendered in Peru Lima and its metropolitan area. The contracted Meteorologist shall provide comprehensive atmospheric analysis, weather forecasting, climate risk assessment, and environmental monitoring support for the duration of the engagement. The Meteorologist is expected to maintain full compliance with the regulations established by the Instituto Nacional de Recursos Naturales (INRENA) and the Dirección Meteorológica de Perú (DMP) operating within Peru Lima.
The Meteorologist shall deliver weekly meteorological bulletins, monthly climate outlook reports, and real-time severe weather alerts specifically calibrated for the coastal, highland, and jungle microclimates relevant to Peru Lima's operational zones. All deliverables must be submitted in both Spanish and English to accommodate the bilingual operational requirements of the client's Peru Lima headquarters.

5.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the commercial laws of the Republic of Peru and shall be interpreted in accordance with the Peruvian Civil Code and the General Tax Code (Código Tributario). All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in the competent courts of Peru Lima, San Isidro Judicial District.
5.2 The Meteorologist shall maintain valid professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of S/ 500,000.00 throughout the contract term. Proof of insurance must be submitted prior to the commencement date in Peru Lima.
5.3 The Meteorologist is engaged as an independent professional contractor and not as an employee of the purchasing entity. All social security contributions (EsSalud, AFP) are the sole responsibility of the Meteorologist in accordance with Peruvian labor regulations applicable in Peru Lima.
5.4 All meteorological data, forecasts, and analytical reports produced under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of the purchasing entity. The Meteorologist shall not disclose proprietary atmospheric data to third parties without written authorization.
5.5 The Meteorologist shall comply with all environmental and occupational safety regulations enforced by the Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima and the relevant Peru Lima district authorities during all on-site fieldwork activities.
5.6 Early termination may be executed by either party with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the Meteorologist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the termination date, plus a 10% administrative fee.
5.7 In the event of a declared state of emergency in Peru Lima due to extreme meteorological events (e.g., El Niño-induced flooding, severe coastal erosion), the Meteorologist shall be obligated to provide extended coverage at the agreed hourly rate without additional surcharges.
All reports and deliverables under this Purchase Order shall be submitted electronically to the designated procurement office in Peru Lima no later than the 5th business day of each month. The purchasing entity shall have ten (10) business days to review and accept or request revisions to each deliverable. Failure to respond within this period shall constitute deemed acceptance of the Meteorologist's work product.
