This Purchase Order authorizes the procurement of professional Meteorologist services to be rendered in the United Arab Emirates Dubai region. The contracted Meteorologist shall provide comprehensive meteorological consulting, forecasting, and advisory services in support of the Dubai Meteorological & Seismic Services Department's operational mandate. The scope of work encompasses the following deliverables:
- Preparation of daily, weekly, and seasonal weather forecasts for the United Arab Emirates Dubai metropolitan area and surrounding emirates.
- Issuance of severe weather warnings, including sandstorm advisories, flash flood alerts, and extreme heat warnings, in coordination with the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Centre.
- Development and maintenance of climate impact assessments for urban planning authorities in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- Provision of real-time Meteorologist expertise during major public events, construction projects, and aviation operations within the Dubai region.
- Conduct of monthly technical briefings for government stakeholders, private sector partners, and emergency response teams in the United Arab Emirates Dubai area.
- Review and validation of automated weather station data collected across the Dubai emirate network.
- Preparation of an annual Meteorological Risk Assessment Report for the United Arab Emirates Dubai coastal and inland zones.

- This Purchase Order shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the specific regulations of the Dubai emirate.
- The Meteorologist engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid professional license issued by the relevant Dubai authority and maintain all required certifications throughout the contract period.
- All services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be performed within the jurisdiction of United Arab Emirates Dubai unless otherwise authorized in writing by the Buyer.
- Payment shall be processed within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the Meteorologist service provider, in accordance with United Arab Emirates federal tax regulations.
- The Meteorologist shall comply with all data protection and confidentiality obligations as stipulated under the United Arab Emirates Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
- Any modification to the scope of Meteorologist services described in this Purchase Order requires a written amendment signed by both parties.
- The Meteorologist shall submit monthly progress reports to the Dubai Meteorological & Seismic Services Department by the fifth (5th) business day of each month.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice in the event of material breach by the other party.
- All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Dubai Courts, United Arab Emirates, in accordance with applicable law.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept the terms, conditions, and scope of Meteorologist services outlined in this Purchase Order for the United Arab Emirates Dubai region. This document constitutes a binding agreement effective from the date of the last signature.
