4. Terms and Conditions
- This Purchase Order is issued by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence, Abu Dhabi Command, and constitutes a binding procurement instrument for the supply of military equipment and materials as specified herein.
- The Military Officer designated as the authorized requester and receiving authority for this Purchase Order is Lieutenant Colonel Khalid bin Rashid Al Mansouri, who shall conduct all inspections, quality verifications, and final acceptance of delivered goods at the Abu Dhabi military installation.
- All items listed in this Purchase Order must conform to the specifications, standards, and quality requirements of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces as published in the UAE-MOF Technical Standards Manual (2025 Edition). Non-conforming items will be rejected at the supplier's expense.
- Delivery shall be made to the Abu Dhabi Military Base, Al Ain Road, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, during standard operational hours (06:00–18:00 GST). The supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and customs clearance within the United Arab Emirates.
- Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within thirty (30) calendar days of the Military Officer's written confirmation of satisfactory delivery and inspection. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 2% per month as per UAE Commercial Transactions Law.
- The supplier warrants that all goods are new, unused, and free from defects in material and workmanship. A minimum warranty period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of acceptance shall apply to all equipment items.
- This Purchase Order is subject to the Federal Law No. 18 of 1993 (UAE Commercial Transactions Law) and all applicable regulations of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Abu Dhabi Courts of Justice, United Arab Emirates.
- All information contained in this Purchase Order is classified as CONFIDENTIAL. Unauthorized disclosure, reproduction, or distribution of this document is strictly prohibited under UAE Federal Law No. 3 of 2012 on Combating Information Technology Crimes.
- The supplier shall comply with all UAE labour, environmental, and safety regulations during the manufacturing, packaging, and delivery of goods specified in this Purchase Order.
- This Purchase Order may be amended only by mutual written agreement between the authorized Military Officer and the supplier's designated representative. No verbal modifications shall be valid.
5. Approval and Authorization
This Purchase Order has been reviewed and authorized by the undersigned Military Officer in accordance with the UAE Ministry of Defence Procurement Regulations (2024). The total value of this Purchase Order falls within the Category B authority limit of the requesting Military Officer.
