This Purchase Order is issued by Harare Central Medical Services (Pvt) Ltd to procure the services of a qualified Registered Nurse for deployment at our primary healthcare facility located in Zimbabwe Harare. The Nurse(s) procured under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties at the Harare Central Medical Services facility in Zimbabwe Harare:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in the electronic medical records system.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and intravenous therapies in strict accordance with Zimbabwean clinical protocols.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Provide wound care, catheter management, and post-operative patient monitoring.
- Deliver patient and family health education sessions on disease management, nutrition, and preventive care.
- Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with the Zimbabwe Data Protection Act (2021).
- Participate in mandatory in-service training, quality assurance audits, and infection control programmes.
- Respond to emergency and triage situations with appropriate clinical judgement and urgency.
- Compliance: All Nurse personnel supplied under this Purchase Order must hold a current, valid registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Zimbabwe. The supplier shall provide copies of registration certificates prior to commencement of services.
- Contract Duration: This Purchase Order covers an initial engagement period of twelve (12) months, renewable upon mutual written agreement between both parties.
- Payment Schedule: Monthly recurring payments shall be due within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice from the supplier. One-time and annual costs shall be invoiced separately and settled within the same payment window.
- Currency: All amounts stated in this Purchase Order are denominated in United States Dollars (USD) in accordance with the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe regulations on foreign currency transactions for healthcare procurement.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of gross professional misconduct by a Nurse, immediate termination of that individual's placement is permitted without penalty.
- Insurance: The supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance covering each Nurse at a minimum sum insured of USD 500,000 per claim, valid throughout the engagement period in Zimbabwe Harare.
- Confidentiality: All patient information accessed by the Nurse during the course of employment shall be treated as strictly confidential and handled in accordance with Zimbabwean health data protection legislation.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Harare, Zimbabwe, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Zimbabwe (Chapter 7:15).
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
The supplier is required to have all Nurse personnel fully deployed, inducted, and operational at the Harare Central Medical Services facility in Zimbabwe Harare no later than 01 July 2025. The supplier shall provide a minimum of fourteen (14) days prior written notice confirming the names, qualifications, and registration numbers of each Nurse to be assigned. A site orientation and facility induction programme shall be conducted during the first three (3) working days of each Nurse's deployment.
This Purchase Order is issued under the authority of the undersigned and constitutes a binding procurement document between the parties named herein. By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, pricing, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the provision of Nurse services in Zimbabwe Harare.
