Terms & Conditions of This Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order is issued exclusively for the procurement of oceanographic instrumentation to support the Oceanographer research program operated by the Gulf of Thailand Marine Research Institute, headquartered in Thailand Bangkok. All equipment must meet international marine research standards (ISO 17025) and be suitable for deployment in tropical coastal and open-ocean environments.
- The supplier shall deliver all items listed in this Purchase Order to the Oceanographer Field Operations Unit at the Thailand Bangkok headquarters address specified above. Delivery must be completed no later than 05 August 2025. Late delivery penalties of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day shall apply.
- All Oceanographer-grade instruments must arrive fully calibrated, with factory calibration certificates, user manuals in English and Thai, and a minimum two-year warranty covering parts and labor. The warranty period begins upon acceptance at the Thailand Bangkok receiving laboratory.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within forty-five (45) calendar days of the date of invoice, provided that all equipment has been inspected and accepted by the Lead Oceanographer at the Thailand Bangkok facility. No partial payments are authorized under this Purchase Order.
- The supplier is responsible for all customs clearance, import duties, and regulatory compliance required to bring oceanographic equipment into Thailand Bangkok. The supplier must provide all necessary documentation, including certificates of origin, import permits, and Thai FDA compliance declarations where applicable.
- Installation, initial calibration, and a 48-hour operational training session for the Oceanographer team shall be conducted on-site at the Thailand Bangkok laboratory by certified supplier technicians. Training materials must be provided in both English and Thai.
- This Purchase Order is subject to the commercial laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Thailand Bangkok under the rules of the Thai Arbitration Institute.
- The supplier acknowledges that the equipment procured under this Purchase Order will be used by the Oceanographer division for sensitive marine environmental monitoring. Confidentiality of all research data collected using these instruments is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
- This Purchase Order may only be amended in writing, signed by both the authorized representative of the Oceanographer division and the supplier. Verbal modifications are void and unenforceable.
