1. Scope of Purchase – Paramedic ServicesThis Purchase Order is issued by Sydney Metropolitan Emergency Health Services Pty Ltd to procure the services of a qualified Paramedic to be deployed and operational within the Australia Sydney metropolitan region. The Paramedic shall be engaged to provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care, critical patient transport, and on-scene medical intervention in accordance with the standards set by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the New South Wales Ambulance Service Authority. The Paramedic must hold a current National Paramedic Accreditation (NPA) and be registered with the Paramedicine Board of Australia.

- Commencement Date: The Paramedic engagement under this Purchase Order shall commence on 1 July 2025 and conclude on 30 June 2026, unless terminated earlier in accordance with Clause 8.
- Work Location: The Paramedic shall be stationed at the Sydney Metropolitan Emergency Health Services facility located at 200 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000, and shall respond to all emergency callouts within the Australia Sydney metropolitan area, including the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Northern Beaches, and Western Sydney regions.
- Qualifications: The Paramedic must hold a minimum of a Diploma of Paramedic Science (Advanced) or equivalent qualification, a current AHPRA registration, a valid NSW driver's licence (Class C), and a National Police Check no older than three (3) months at the time of commencement.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made on a monthly basis within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. All payments shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the supplier's nominated bank account in Australia Sydney. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 10% per annum as prescribed under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Compliance: The Paramedic and the supplier shall comply with all applicable Australian and New South Wales legislation, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Health Records Act 2001 (NSW), the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW), and all AHPRA professional standards for paramedicine.
- Insurance: The supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than AUD 10,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than AUD 20,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order. Certificates of insurance shall be provided to the buyer prior to the commencement date.
- Confidentiality: The Paramedic shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient information encountered during the course of duties in Australia Sydney. Breach of confidentiality shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Purchase Order and may result in legal action under the Privacy Act 1988.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. The buyer may terminate immediately for cause, including but not limited to: failure to maintain AHPRA registration, gross misconduct, failure to meet performance standards, or breach of any material term of this Purchase Order.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the courts of Australia Sydney or by arbitration under the Arbitration Act 2010 (NSW).
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions affecting operations in Australia Sydney.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and line items set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Paramedic in Australia Sydney. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon execution by both authorized representatives.
