This Purchase Order is issued by the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board to procure the services of a qualified Paramedic to be deployed within the United Kingdom Manchester region. The Paramedic shall provide emergency medical response, pre-hospital care, and clinical support in accordance with the standards set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the National Health Service (NHS) England guidelines.
The Paramedic engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a current HCPC registration, a valid NHS Practitioner Number, and a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification experience in emergency and pre-hospital care. The Paramedic shall be available for a twelve-month fixed-term contract commencing on 01 September 2025, with the option to extend for a further twelve months at the discretion of the Buyer.

4.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom, with venue in Manchester.
4.2 The Paramedic engaged under this Purchase Order shall comply with all NHS England policies, the NHS Constitution, and the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Professionals. The Paramedic must maintain a valid HCPC registration throughout the duration of the contract and notify the Buyer in writing within forty-eight (48) hours of any change in registration status.
4.3 The Supplier shall ensure that the Paramedic is fully insured under a professional indemnity policy with a minimum cover of £5,000,000 per claim. Certificates of insurance shall be provided to the Buyer prior to the commencement date.
4.4 Payment terms: Invoices shall be submitted monthly in arrears. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice. Late payment shall attract interest at the rate prescribed under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4.5 The Buyer reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice in the event of material breach, failure to maintain required qualifications, or a sustained reduction in service levels below the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
4.6 The Paramedic shall be required to work within the United Kingdom Manchester metropolitan area, including but not limited to the boroughs of Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, and Trafford. The Paramedic may be required to respond to emergency call-outs at any hour in accordance with the NHS 999 and 111 service protocols.
4.7 All personal data processed under this Purchase Order shall comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The Supplier shall act as a data processor on behalf of the Buyer in accordance with a separate Data Processing Agreement.
4.8 The Supplier warrants that the Paramedic shall not be subject to any conflict of interest and shall declare any such conflicts in writing to the Buyer within five (5) working days of becoming aware of them.
The Paramedic shall report for duty at the designated United Kingdom Manchester ambulance station on 01 September 2025 at 08:00 hours. The Supplier shall confirm in writing, no later than 14 August 2025, that the Paramedic has completed all pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS clearance, right-to-work verification, occupational health assessment, and NHS induction training. Failure to meet this deadline shall entitle the Buyer to cancel this Purchase Order without penalty.
This Purchase Order is authorised and accepted by the undersigned parties. By signing below, both parties confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this Purchase Order for the provision of Paramedic services in United Kingdom Manchester.
