The Petroleum Engineer shall be based and shall conduct all professional activities within the city of Sri Lanka Colombo, specifically at the client's operational headquarters located on Galle Road, Colombo 03. The scope of work encompasses reservoir evaluation, well performance analysis, production forecasting, and technical advisory services related to the client's offshore and onshore petroleum exploration and production assets in the Sri Lankan continental shelf region.
The Petroleum Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited university, possess a valid professional registration with the Engineering Association of Sri Lanka, and demonstrate a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in petroleum reservoir engineering, well completion design, and production optimization. The Petroleum Engineer shall report directly to the Chief Technical Officer of Island Energy Solutions and shall be available on-site in Sri Lanka Colombo for a minimum of five (5) working days per week throughout the contract period.

- This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issue. The Petroleum Engineer services shall commence no later than 01 August 2025 and shall continue for a period of six (6) months unless extended by mutual written agreement.
- All professional services rendered by the Petroleum Engineer shall be performed in accordance with the standards set by the Engineering Association of Sri Lanka, the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI), and applicable international petroleum engineering best practices as recognized by SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers).
- The Petroleum Engineer shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of LKR 10,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order and shall provide a certificate of insurance to the client prior to commencing work in Sri Lanka Colombo.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the supplier. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by PetroTech Consulting Engineers (Pvt) Ltd. All amounts are denominated in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are subject to applicable withholding tax as per the Inland Revenue Department of Sri Lanka.
- The Petroleum Engineer shall be bound by strict confidentiality obligations regarding all proprietary data, reservoir information, and operational details of the client. Any breach of confidentiality shall render the supplier liable for damages and immediate termination of this Purchase Order.
- All deliverables, including reports, models, and technical documentation produced by the Petroleum Engineer, shall become the exclusive property of Island Energy Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. upon full payment. The Petroleum Engineer shall not reproduce, distribute, or reference such materials without prior written consent.
- The supplier shall ensure that the Petroleum Engineer assigned to this Purchase Order complies with all local labor laws, immigration regulations (if applicable), and occupational health and safety standards enforced in Sri Lanka Colombo and across the Republic of Sri Lanka.
- Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Sri Lanka Colombo in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Sri Lanka. The governing law shall be the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
- This Purchase Order constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the engagement of the Petroleum Engineer and supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements. Amendments must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
