This Purchase Order is issued by the National Institute of Physics Research, Islamabad, for the engagement of a qualified Physicist to provide specialized consulting, research supervision, and technical advisory services. The Physicist shall deliver the following scope of work within the jurisdiction of Pakistan Islamabad:

3.1 Scope and Qualification: The Physicist engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a minimum of a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Physics or a closely related discipline from a recognized university. The Physicist must demonstrate a minimum of eight (8) years of post-doctoral research experience. All work shall be conducted in compliance with the regulations set forth by the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Islamabad.
3.2 Place of Performance: All services described in this Purchase Order shall be rendered at the designated laboratory and office facilities located in Pakistan Islamabad, specifically at Plot 42, Sector H-8, Jinnah Avenue. The Physicist is expected to be physically present at the Pakistan Islamabad site for a minimum of five (5) working days per week during the active engagement period.
3.3 Payment Terms: Payment against this Purchase Order shall be made in three (3) equal installments: (a) 40% upon acceptance and commencement of services by the Physicist; (b) 35% upon completion of the mid-term deliverables and satisfactory review by the Pakistan Islamabad project committee; and (c) 25% upon final delivery, acceptance of all documents, and issuance of the completion certificate. Payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the Physicist within fifteen (15) business days of invoice submission.
3.4 Intellectual Property: All research outputs, data sets, publications, and technical documents produced by the Physicist in the course of fulfilling this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of the National Institute of Physics Research, Islamabad. The Physicist shall not publish, distribute, or disclose any proprietary information related to the Pakistan Islamabad research program without prior written consent from the Buyer.
3.5 Confidentiality: The Physicist agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all sensitive data, experimental parameters, and strategic research directions associated with the Pakistan Islamabad facility. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.
3.6 Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, the Physicist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the date of termination, and all work-in-progress materials shall be handed over to the Pakistan Islamabad facility management.
3.7 Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Islamabad in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940.
The Physicist shall submit all deliverables to the Project Director at the Pakistan Islamabad office no later than the dates specified in the attached project timeline. Acceptance of deliverables shall be confirmed in writing by the Buyer within ten (10) business days of submission. Failure to provide written rejection within this period shall constitute deemed acceptance under this Purchase Order.
