This Purchase Order is issued by the Khartoum University Research & Development Institute to formally engage the services of a qualified Physicist for a period of twelve (12) months, commencing 1 August 2025 and concluding 31 July 2026. The Physicist shall be based at the institute's primary laboratory facility located in Sudan Khartoum and shall perform the following duties and deliverables:

3 Preparation and delivery of a minimum of two (2) peer-reviewed research publications arising from the work conducted in Sudan Khartoum. Months 6–12 95,000 SDG
4 Mentorship and training of four (4) graduate students in experimental physics techniques, to be conducted at the institute's Sudan Khartoum facility. Months 4–12 160,000 SDG
5 Monthly progress reporting and quarterly technical review meetings with the institute's board of directors in Sudan Khartoum. Months 1–12 75,000 SDG
Total Contract Value 935,000 SDG

Payment under this Purchase Order shall be made in accordance with the following schedule. All payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the Physicist and shall be denominated in Sudanese Pounds (SDG) at the prevailing Central Bank of Sudan exchange rate on the date of disbursement.

  1. Advance Payment (25%): A sum of 233,750 SDG shall be paid within fourteen (14) calendar days of the execution of this Purchase Order, serving as a mobilization payment to the Physicist.
  2. Progress Payments (50%): Two equal instalments of 233,750 SDG each shall be paid at the completion of Month 4 and Month 8, subject to satisfactory review of deliverables by the institute's technical committee in Sudan Khartoum.
  3. Final Payment (25%): The remaining balance of 233,750 SDG shall be paid within thirty (30) days of the successful completion of all deliverables and submission of the final project report.
  1. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Sudan, including the Sudanese Civil Code and applicable regulations of the Sudan Professional Bodies Council. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Sudan Khartoum in accordance with the Sudan Arbitration Act.
  2. The Physicist warrants that all work performed under this Purchase Order shall be original, free from intellectual property infringement, and shall comply with all radiation safety standards set by the Sudanese Atomic Energy Commission.
  3. The Physicist shall maintain valid professional registration with the Sudan Professional Bodies Council throughout the duration of this Purchase Order and shall provide evidence of such registration upon request.
  4. All data, research findings, and intellectual property generated in the course of work performed under this Purchase Order at the Sudan Khartoum facility shall be the joint property of the institute and the Physicist, with publication rights shared equally.
  5. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Physicist shall be compensated for all work completed up to the date of termination, less any advance payments already received.
  6. The Physicist shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary work permits, laboratory access clearances, and radiation handling licenses required to perform the services described in this Purchase Order within Sudan Khartoum.
  7. Force majeure events, including but not limited to civil unrest, natural disasters, or government-imposed restrictions in Sudan Khartoum, shall suspend the obligations under this Purchase Order for the duration of such event, with a corresponding extension of the project timeline.
  8. This Purchase Order constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements relating to the engagement of the Physicist for the services described herein.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this Purchase Order. This document is executed in two (2) original copies, one retained by each party, both bearing equal legal validity.
