The Physicist engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties at the CARI facility in Thailand Bangkok:
- Lead and coordinate all quantum mechanics research programs, including experimental design, data acquisition, and theoretical modeling within the CARI laboratory complex in Thailand Bangkok.
- Provide expert Physicist-level consultation to industrial partners seeking applied solutions in thermodynamics, optics, and materials science, with all consultations conducted at the CARI offices in Thailand Bangkok unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Supervise a minimum of six (6) PhD-level graduate students in the Department of Physics, ensuring adherence to academic standards and ethical research practices as mandated by Thai higher education regulations.
- Author and co-author a minimum of four (4) peer-reviewed journal articles per calendar year, with at least two (2) publications presented at international conferences held in Thailand Bangkok.
- Conduct bi-weekly laboratory equipment calibration sessions and maintain full documentation of all experimental setups in accordance with CARI quality assurance protocols.
- Attend all monthly research review meetings held at the CARI headquarters in Thailand Bangkok and submit written progress reports to the Procurement Director within five (5) business days of each meeting.
- Payment shall be made in Thai Baht (THB) via bank transfer to the account designated by Quantum Dynamics Consulting Group Co., Ltd.
- Payment Schedule: 25% upon execution of this Purchase Order; 25% at the completion of Month 4; 25% at the completion of Month 8; and the remaining 25% upon final delivery and acceptance of all Physicist deliverables at the end of Month 12.
- All invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-THB-2025-04871) and shall be submitted to the CARI Accounts Payable department in Thailand Bangkok no later than the 25th of each month.
- Payment terms are Net 30 days from the date of invoice receipt. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as stipulated under Thai commercial law.
- All amounts are subject to 7% Value Added Tax (VAT) in accordance with the Thai Revenue Code.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Thailand Bangkok in accordance with the rules of the Thai Arbitration Institute.
- The Physicist shall comply with all applicable Thai labor laws, immigration regulations, and professional licensing requirements for the duration of the engagement in Thailand Bangkok.
- All intellectual property generated by the Physicist during the course of this engagement shall be the sole property of CARI, unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement.
- The Physicist shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of THB 10,000,000 for the entire duration of the engagement in Thailand Bangkok.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, the Physicist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination.
- The Physicist shall not disclose any confidential or proprietary information belonging to CARI or its partners to any third party without prior written consent. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or public health emergencies affecting Thailand Bangkok, shall suspend obligations under this Purchase Order for the duration of the event.
All deliverables under this Purchase Order, including research reports, publications, calibration records, and progress documentation, shall be submitted to the CARI Procurement Office in Thailand Bangkok in both digital (PDF) and hard-copy format. Acceptance of deliverables shall be confirmed in writing by the Procurement Director within ten (10) business days of submission. Failure to confirm acceptance within this period shall constitute deemed acceptance.
