TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Delivery: All items specified in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the General Directorate of Public Security, Al-Salimiyah Precinct, Kuwait, Kuwait City, no later than 30 July 2025. The supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and handling costs until the goods are received and inspected by the designated Police Officer or supervising officer at the delivery location.
2. Inspection and Acceptance: Upon delivery, the receiving Police Officer or authorized representative shall inspect all items for conformity with the specifications outlined in this Purchase Order. Any defective, damaged, or non-conforming items must be reported in writing within five (5) business days of delivery. The supplier shall replace or repair non-conforming items at no additional cost within ten (10) business days.
3. Payment Terms: Payment of the total amount of KWD 1,481.550 (One Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-One Kuwaiti Dinars and Five Hundred Fifty Fils) shall be made via government bank transfer within thirty (30) days of the date of successful inspection and written acceptance by the Equipment and Logistics Division. Payment shall be processed through the Ministry of Interior's central accounts office in Kuwait, Kuwait City.
4. Warranty: The supplier warrants that all goods supplied under this Purchase Order are new, unused, and free from defects in materials and workmanship. A minimum warranty period of twenty-four (24) months applies to all electronic devices (Body-Worn Camera, Radio Communication Device) and twelve (12) months for all other items. The warranty is valid for use by the assigned Police Officer within the jurisdiction of Kuwait, Kuwait City.
5. Compliance: All items must comply with the standards and regulations set forth by the General Directorate of Public Security and the Ministry of Interior of Kuwait. The supplier confirms that all equipment meets the operational requirements for a Police Officer serving in Kuwait, Kuwait City, including environmental durability standards for the local climate.
6. Cancellation: This Purchase Order may be cancelled in whole or in part by the Buyer with written notice to the Supplier. In the event of cancellation after production has commenced, the Supplier shall be compensated for verifiable costs incurred up to the date of cancellation, subject to approval by the Ministry of Interior.
7. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kuwait. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the competent courts in Kuwait, Kuwait City.
8. Confidentiality: The Supplier acknowledges that the equipment procured under this Purchase Order is intended for the exclusive use of a Police Officer in the performance of official duties in Kuwait, Kuwait City. The Supplier shall not disclose any operational details, specifications, or procurement information to any third party without prior written authorization from the General Directorate of Public Security.
