Note: All items listed in this Purchase Order are intended exclusively for the use and assignment of Police Officers serving under the Yangon Metropolitan Police Department in Myanmar. The supplier shall ensure that all equipment meets or exceeds the specifications outlined in the YMPD Technical Standards Manual (2024 Edition). All vehicles must be registered with the Yangon Regional Transport Authority prior to delivery.

Terms and Conditions

  1. This Purchase Order is issued by the Yangon Metropolitan Police Department, Myanmar, and constitutes a binding procurement agreement upon written acceptance by the supplier. All goods and services described herein are procured for the operational readiness and safety of Police Officers stationed throughout the Yangon Region.
  2. The supplier shall deliver all items to the designated delivery location in Yangon, Myanmar, no later than the Required Delivery Date stated above. Late delivery shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%.
  3. All Police Officer uniforms, body armor, helmets, and protective equipment must comply with the Myanmar National Standards (MNS) and the specific technical requirements of the Yangon Metropolitan Police Department. Non-conforming items will be rejected at the buyer's expense for return shipping.
  4. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's registered account in Myanmar within thirty (30) calendar days of confirmed and satisfactory receipt of all goods and completion of all services. The buyer reserves the right to withhold payment for any defective or incomplete delivery.
  5. The supplier warrants that all goods are new, unused, and free from defects in material and workmanship. A minimum warranty period of twelve (12) months applies to all equipment, and twenty-four (24) months applies to patrol vehicles, commencing from the date of delivery in Yangon.
  6. The supplier shall provide full technical documentation, user manuals in both English and Burmese, and a minimum of two (2) days of on-site training for the receiving Police Officers at the YMPD Central Armory in Yangon.
  7. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Yangon Regional Arbitration Tribunal. The supplier acknowledges that all equipment procured under this order is for official Police Officer use and shall not be resold, transferred, or diverted without written authorization from the Yangon Metropolitan Police Department.
  8. The supplier shall maintain full insurance coverage for all goods in transit to Yangon, Myanmar, and shall bear all risk of loss or damage until the goods are formally accepted by the receiving Police Officer or designated YMPD representative at the delivery site.
  9. Any amendments, modifications, or cancellations to this Purchase Order must be made in writing and signed by both parties. Verbal agreements are not valid under this Purchase Order.
