Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order

This Purchase Order is governed by the Public Finance and Management Act (PFMA) No. 1 of 1999 of the Republic of South Africa and the National Treasury Regulations. All procurement activities for the Police Officer's equipment must comply with the SAPS Procurement Policy and the Western Cape Provincial Division's internal guidelines.
All goods and services listed in this Purchase Order are to be delivered to the designated Police Officer's duty station within the South Africa Cape Town Metropolitan Area. The supplier shall confirm delivery logistics in writing within five (5) business days of acceptance of this Purchase Order.
Payment terms: Net 30 days from the date of confirmed delivery and acceptance of all items by the receiving Police Officer and the Procurement & Logistics Unit. Payment shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the supplier's registered bank account in South Africa.
All equipment procured under this Purchase Order must meet or exceed the specifications set by the South African Police Service for a Police Officer operating in the South Africa Cape Town jurisdiction. Non-conforming items will be rejected at the supplier's cost, and replacement must be arranged within ten (10) business days.
The supplier warrants that all goods are new, unused, and free from defects. A minimum warranty period of twelve (12) months applies to all electronic and mechanical items. The Police Officer's body armour must carry a valid SANS 1742 certification at the time of delivery.
Delivery to the Police Officer's station in South Africa Cape Town shall be made between 08:00 and 16:00 on business days. The supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and risk of loss until the items are signed for by the authorised Police Officer or station commander.
This Purchase Order may be amended only by written mutual agreement between the South African Police Service, Western Cape Division, and the supplier. No verbal modifications shall be binding.
In the event of a dispute arising from this Purchase Order, the parties shall first attempt resolution through mediation. Failing resolution within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be referred to the High Court of South Africa, Cape Town Division, for adjudication.
The supplier acknowledges that all equipment procured under this Purchase Order is for the exclusive use of the assigned Police Officer in the performance of official duties within South Africa Cape Town and shall not be transferred, sold, or repurposed without written authorisation from the SAPS.
This Purchase Order is valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Failure to accept or commence delivery within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void at the discretion of the South African Police Service.
