The Radiologist engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties at the facility in Nepal Kathmandu:
- Interpret all radiological imaging studies including plain radiographs, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), fluoroscopy, and diagnostic ultrasound examinations conducted at the centre.
- Provide timely written and verbal reports to referring physicians, ensuring diagnostic accuracy in accordance with the standards set by the Nepal Medical Council and the Radiological Society of Nepal.
- Supervise and mentor junior radiology technicians and resident radiologists working within the Nepal Kathmandu facility.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings and clinical case conferences as required by the hospital administration.
- Maintain patient imaging records in compliance with Nepal's data protection and medical confidentiality regulations.
- Ensure all diagnostic imaging equipment is operated within safe radiation exposure limits as mandated by the Department of Nuclear Technology and Radiation Safety, Government of Nepal.
4.1 Payment shall be made in monthly installments via bank transfer to the account specified in Section 1. The first payment shall be due within 15 days of the commencement date of the Radiologist's engagement.
4.2 All payments are subject to the submission of a valid tax invoice bearing the VAT registration number of the service provider, in compliance with the Inland Revenue Department of Nepal.
4.3 The Purchasing Entity reserves the right to withhold payment in the event of non-performance or breach of the terms outlined in this Purchase Order.
4.4 All amounts stated in this Purchase Order are in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) and are inclusive of applicable professional service charges unless otherwise noted.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, specifically the Contract Act, 2023 (2056 BS) and applicable medical professional regulations.
- The Radiologist must maintain valid professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of NPR 10,000,000 throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
- The Radiologist shall comply with all workplace safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and radiation safety standards enforced at the Nepal Kathmandu facility.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice. In the event of termination, payment shall be made pro-rata for services rendered up to the termination date.
- Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Kathmandu, Nepal, and failing that, through the competent courts of law in Kathmandu, Bagmati Province.
- This Purchase Order does not constitute a permanent employment contract. The relationship between the parties is strictly that of an independent professional service engagement.
- The Radiologist shall not disclose any proprietary information, patient data, or operational details of the Purchasing Entity to any third party without prior written consent.
- All work performed under this Purchase Order shall be conducted at the facility premises located in Nepal Kathmandu, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Radiologist in Nepal Kathmandu. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon execution by both authorized signatories.
