OF SERVICES – RADIOLIST ENGAGEMENTThis Purchase Order is issued by Karachi Diagnostic & Imaging Centre to formally engage the services of a qualified Radiologist for the provision of diagnostic imaging interpretation, clinical consultation, and radiological reporting services at the facility located in Pakistan Karachi. The Radiologist shall be responsible for the complete interpretation of all imaging modalities including but not limited to X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy examinations conducted at the centre.
The engagement of the Radiologist under this Purchase Order is governed by the professional standards set forth by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) and the regulatory requirements of the Sindh Health Department. The Radiologist must hold a valid PMDC registration, a Fellowship in Radiology (FRCR or equivalent), and a minimum of five (5) years of post-fellowship clinical experience in diagnostic radiology practice within Pakistan Karachi or an internationally recognized medical institution.

- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, specifically the Sindh Provincial Health Regulations and the PMDC Professional Conduct Code. All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Karachi in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940.
- Professional Standards: The Radiologist shall maintain all professional registrations, licenses, and certifications in good standing throughout the duration of this Purchase Order. Any lapse in PMDC registration or professional standing shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Purchase Order without penalty to the purchasing entity.
- Confidentiality: The Radiologist shall adhere strictly to patient confidentiality as mandated by the Pakistan Data Protection Regulations and the PMDC ethical guidelines. All patient imaging data and clinical reports generated under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of Karachi Diagnostic & Imaging Centre.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made on a monthly basis within fifteen (15) calendar days of the end of each service month. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the Radiologist. A withholding tax of 15% shall be deducted as per the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) regulations applicable in Pakistan Karachi.
- Commencement Date: The services under this Purchase Order shall commence on 1 July 2025, subject to verification of all credentials, PMDC registration, and professional indemnity insurance by the purchasing entity.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. The purchasing entity may terminate immediately in the event of professional misconduct, negligence in radiological reporting, or breach of confidentiality obligations.
- Insurance: The Radiologist shall maintain a valid professional indemnity insurance policy with a minimum coverage of PKR 50,000,000 (Fifty Million Pakistani Rupees) for the entire duration of this Purchase Order. A copy of the insurance certificate shall be submitted prior to commencement of services.
- Work Location: All services shall be rendered at the Karachi Diagnostic & Imaging Centre facility located in Clifton, Pakistan Karachi, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties for off-site consultations or conference presentations.
- Intellectual Property: All radiological reports, diagnostic findings, and clinical documentation produced under this Purchase Order shall be the intellectual property of the purchasing entity. The Radiologist retains the right to use anonymized case data for academic publication with prior written consent.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed lockdowns in Pakistan Karachi, or public health emergencies declared by the Sindh Provincial Government.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this Purchase Order. This document constitutes a binding agreement for the engagement of the Radiologist by the purchasing entity for the provision of diagnostic radiology services in Pakistan Karachi.
