This Purchase Order is issued by Milan Advanced Automation S.r.l. to procure the professional services of a qualified Robotics Engineer to be deployed at our primary research and development facility located in Italy Milan. The Robotics Engineer shall be responsible for the design, development, integration, and maintenance of advanced robotic systems, including but not limited to industrial robotic arms, autonomous mobile robots, and collaborative robotic platforms (cobots) used in our manufacturing and logistics operations.
The selected Robotics Engineer must possess a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in robotics engineering, with demonstrated expertise in robotic kinematics, control systems (PLC, ROS, ROS2), computer vision integration, and industrial automation. The candidate must hold a Master's degree or higher in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering discipline. Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory, as all technical documentation, client presentations, and interdepartmental communications within our Italy Milan headquarters will be conducted in both languages.
The Robotics Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties at the Italy Milan site (Via Torino, 128, 20123 Milan):
- Design and prototype next-generation robotic end-effectors for precision assembly tasks.
- Develop and optimize control algorithms for multi-robot coordination systems.
- Integrate machine learning modules for adaptive robotic path planning.
- Conduct on-site commissioning and calibration of robotic cells in the Milan production floor.
- Prepare technical documentation, including FMEA reports, ISO 10218 compliance files, and CE marking dossiers.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with the Italian national standards body (UNI) for regulatory compliance.
- Attend quarterly client review meetings held at the Italy Milan innovation hub.

- Commencement Date: The Robotics Engineer shall report to the Italy Milan facility no later than 1 September 2025. Any delay beyond this date shall incur a penalty of 1.5% of the monthly retainer per calendar day of delay.
- Payment Terms: Net 45 days from the date of invoice. Invoices shall be submitted monthly by the 5th business day. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the IBAN specified in Section 1.
- Contract Duration: This Purchase Order covers a period of twelve (12) months, renewable by mutual written agreement. Either party may terminate with sixty (60) days' written notice.
- Intellectual Property: All designs, code, prototypes, and documentation created by the Robotics Engineer during the engagement shall be the exclusive property of Milan Advanced Automation S.r.l. The Robotics Engineer shall sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) prior to commencement.
- Compliance: The Robotics Engineer shall comply with all applicable Italian labor laws, EU robotics safety directives (2006/42/EC), and local regulations governing the Italy Milan metropolitan area.
- Performance KPIs: Quarterly performance reviews shall be conducted. Failure to meet agreed-upon deliverables for two consecutive quarters shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Purchase Order without penalty to the issuing company.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Italian Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Milan, Italy.
This Purchase Order is binding upon written acceptance by the vendor. By signing below, the vendor acknowledges receipt of this Purchase Order, agrees to the scope of work, pricing, and terms outlined herein, and commits to delivering the Robotics Engineer services at the designated Italy Milan location as specified.
