This Purchase Order is issued by Iberia Advanced Robotics Solutions S.L. (hereinafter referred to as the “Buyer”) to formally procure the professional services of a qualified Robotics Engineer to be deployed at the Buyer’s primary research and development facility located in Spain Barcelona, specifically at the Av. Diagonal 650 campus in the Eixample district. The engagement is structured as a fixed-term professional services contract with a duration of twelve (12) months, commencing on 1 September 2025 and concluding on 31 August 2026, subject to renewal by mutual written agreement.
The Robotics Engineer shall be responsible for the design, development, testing, and integration of autonomous robotic systems, including but not limited to industrial manipulator arms, mobile autonomous platforms, and sensor fusion architectures. The role demands a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in robotics engineering, with demonstrated proficiency in ROS 2 (Robot Operating System), C++/Python programming, embedded systems design, computer vision, and kinematic modelling. The candidate must hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering discipline from an accredited institution within the European Higher Education Area.
All work shall be performed on-site at the Buyer’s premises in Spain Barcelona, with the possibility of up to twenty percent (20%) remote work as approved in writing by the project director. The Robotics Engineer shall report directly to the Head of R&D and shall participate in cross-functional teams comprising mechanical engineers, software developers, and quality assurance specialists. The professional shall be expected to work a standard schedule of forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday, in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement for the technology sector in the province of Barcelona.

Payment shall be rendered via SEPA bank transfer to the account designated by the Vendor. Invoices shall be submitted on the last business day of each calendar month for services rendered during that period. The Purchase Order number PO-2025-BAR-00472 must be referenced on all corresponding invoices. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established under Royal Decree 4/2013 of the Kingdom of Spain.
- The Robotics Engineer shall comply with all applicable Spanish labour legislation, including the Workers’ Statute (Estatuto de los Trabajadores, Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015) and the specific regulations governing the autonomous community of Catalonia.
- All intellectual property, designs, code, and documentation produced by the Robotics Engineer during the term of this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive property of the Buyer, as stipulated in the separate Non-Disclosure and IP Assignment Agreement (Ref: NDA-2025-0089).
- The Vendor guarantees that the Robotics Engineer shall be fully registered with the Spanish Social Security system (Seguridad Social) and that all applicable employer contributions shall be remitted in accordance with the regulations of the Barcelona provincial office.
- Either party may terminate this engagement with thirty (30) days’ prior written notice. In the event of termination for cause, the notice period shall be reduced to seven (7) days.
- All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the competent courts of Barcelona, Spain, or by arbitration before the Barcelona Arbitration Centre (Círculo de Arbitraje de Barcelona) at the election of the Buyer.
- The Vendor shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 1,000,000 per claim, valid throughout the duration of the contract, with the Buyer named as an additional insured party.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this Purchase Order for the procurement of a Robotics Engineer to be stationed in Spain Barcelona. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon execution by both authorised signatories.
