3. Description of Services – School Counselor Engagement
This Purchase Order is issued by Acacia Heights International School, Kenya Nairobi, to formally engage the services of a qualified School Counselor for the 2025/2026 academic year. The School Counselor shall provide comprehensive student welfare, academic guidance, and psychological support services to all students enrolled at the institution located in Kenya Nairobi. The engagement is made in accordance with the Kenya Education Act, 2013, and the guidelines set forth by the Kenya Counselling Board.

4. Terms and Conditions
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Acacia Heights International School, Kenya Nairobi, and the named School Counselor for the provision of student counseling and welfare services.
- The School Counselor shall be required to be physically present at the school premises in Kenya Nairobi on all scheduled working days, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 07:30 AM and 04:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
- Payment shall be made on a monthly basis via bank transfer to the account specified in Section 2, within fourteen (14) calendar days of the end of each month, subject to satisfactory performance review.
- The School Counselor shall maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, and the ethical code of conduct of the Kenya Counselling Board. All student records shall be stored securely at the Kenya Nairobi campus and shall not be disclosed to any third party without written parental consent.
- This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with a written notice of thirty (30) days. In the event of termination by the school, payment shall be made pro-rata for services rendered up to the date of termination.
- The School Counselor shall carry professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of KES 5,000,000, valid throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
- All services rendered under this Purchase Order shall comply with the standards set by the Kenya Institute of Professional Counsellors and the Ministry of Education, Republic of Kenya.
- The school reserves the right to conduct periodic performance evaluations of the School Counselor on a quarterly basis. Failure to meet the agreed performance benchmarks after two consecutive evaluations shall constitute grounds for termination without notice.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Kenya Nairobi in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1995.
- The School Counselor shall not be engaged in any other counseling practice at a competing educational institution within the Kenya Nairobi metropolitan area during the term of this Purchase Order.
5. Delivery and Commencement
The School Counselor shall commence duties on the 1st of September 2025, coinciding with the opening of the 2025/2026 academic term at Acacia Heights International School, Kenya Nairobi. The first month of service shall be considered a probationary period during which the school shall assess the suitability and effectiveness of the counseling services provided.
6. Acceptance and Authorization
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a School Counselor at Acacia Heights International School, Kenya Nairobi.
