This Purchase Order is issued by Mumbai Inclusive Education Foundation for the recruitment, placement, and ongoing professional engagement of a qualified Special Education Teacher to serve at the MIEF Inclusive Learning Centre located in India Mumbai. The Special Education Teacher shall be responsible for designing and delivering individualized education programs (IEPs) for children with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, hearing impairment, visual impairment, and specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyscalculia.
The Special Education Teacher must hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with a specialization in Special Education, or a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Additionally, the candidate must possess a valid certificate from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and a minimum of five (5) years of documented experience in special education settings within India Mumbai or other metropolitan cities in Maharashtra State.

- Payment shall be made in Indian Rupees (INR) via NEFT/RTGS to the bank account of the Supplier as specified in this Purchase Order.
- 25% advance payment (INR 2,58,125) shall be disbursed within seven (7) working days of the acceptance of this Purchase Order.
- Remaining 75% shall be paid in three equal quarterly installments, due on the 5th of the first month of each quarter (October 2025, January 2026, April 2026).
- All payments are subject to the Supplier submitting valid GST-compliant tax invoices as per the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Act, 2017, applicable in India Mumbai.
- Any delay in payment beyond the stipulated due date shall attract interest at the rate of 12% per annum, calculated on a monthly basis.
- Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) shall be deducted as per the Income Tax Act, 1961, of India, and deposited with the appropriate authorities in India Mumbai.
- This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
- The Special Education Teacher engaged under this Purchase Order must maintain valid RCI registration throughout the contract period and shall immediately notify the Buyer of any lapse or suspension.
- The Supplier warrants that the Special Education Teacher shall not be engaged in any conflicting employment or consultancy arrangement during the term of this Purchase Order.
- All student records, IEP documents, and personal data handled by the Special Education Teacher shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable data protection regulations in India Mumbai.
- The Buyer reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice in the event of material breach, unsatisfactory performance, or non-compliance with statutory requirements.
- Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India Mumbai, Maharashtra.
- This Purchase Order does not constitute a permanent employment contract. The Special Education Teacher shall be engaged on a contractual service basis through the Supplier.
- All intellectual property, curriculum materials, and IEP templates developed by the Special Education Teacher during the engagement shall vest with the Buyer upon completion of the contract term.
This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issue. The Supplier's written acceptance, signed by an authorized signatory, shall constitute a binding agreement between both parties. No modification to this Purchase Order shall be valid unless executed in writing and signed by both parties.
