The Special Education Teacher engaged under this Purchase Order shall be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating individualized education programmes (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs within the Abu Dhabi public and private special education centres. The Special Education Teacher shall collaborate with general education staff, parents, psychologists, and occupational therapists to ensure a fully inclusive learning environment in compliance with the Abu Dhabi Education Strategy 2030 and ADEK regulatory frameworks. The Special Education Teacher is expected to maintain accurate student progress records, conduct regular parent-teacher conferences, and participate in inter-school special education committees convened by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the specific procurement regulations of the Abu Dhabi Government. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in the competent courts of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- The Supplier shall ensure that the Special Education Teacher meets all ADEK qualification requirements, holds a valid or obtainable UAE teaching license, and passes the mandatory medical fitness examination prior to the commencement date.
- The Special Education Teacher shall be subject to a background check through the UAE Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security and the Abu Dhabi Police clearance process.
- Payment shall be processed in UAE Dirhams (AED) via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account in Abu Dhabi. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-ADH-2025-04872) and be submitted to the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge accounts payable office.
- The Supplier warrants that the Special Education Teacher shall not be engaged in any conflicting employment or consultancy arrangement within the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi education sector during the contract term.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 60 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Supplier shall facilitate the transition of the Special Education Teacher's responsibilities to a successor or to the Buyer's internal staff.
- All personal data of the Special Education Teacher and students shall be handled in strict accordance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
- The Supplier shall indemnify the Buyer against any claims, liabilities, or penalties arising from the Supplier's failure to comply with UAE labour law (Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021) or Abu Dhabi municipal regulations.
- This Purchase Order does not constitute a permanent employment contract. The relationship between the Special Education Teacher and the Buyer is defined solely by the terms herein and applicable UAE labour legislation.
- All communications regarding this Purchase Order shall be directed to the designated procurement officer at the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, Special Education Division.
