3. Scope of Services – Speech Therapist Engagement
This Purchase Order authorizes the engagement of a qualified Speech Therapist to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to children and adolescents at the Abuja Children's Development Centre located in Nigeria Abuja. The Speech Therapist shall be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders, including but not limited to articulation delays, phonological disorders, language acquisition difficulties, stuttering, voice disorders, and oral-motor dysfunction. All services shall be delivered in accordance with the clinical standards set by the Nigerian Association of Speech and Language Therapists and the Federal Ministry of Health, Abuja.

5. Terms and Conditions
- This Purchase Order is issued by Abuja Children's Development Centre Ltd. and constitutes a binding agreement for the provision of Speech Therapist services within the Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria Abuja.
- The Speech Therapist shall maintain valid professional registration with NASLANT and a current practicing licence throughout the contract period. Failure to maintain registration shall result in immediate termination of this Purchase Order.
- Payment shall be made on a monthly basis within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice. All payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the account specified in Section 2.
- The Speech Therapist shall submit a written progress report for each client on a monthly basis and a comprehensive annual summary report to the Head of Clinical Services.
- All patient records and clinical data shall be maintained in strict confidence in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 and the centre's internal data protection policies.
- The Speech Therapist shall adhere to the centre's code of conduct, dress code, and operational hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, WAT). Additional sessions outside these hours require prior written approval.
- This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, all outstanding invoices for services rendered up to the termination date shall be settled in full.
- The Speech Therapist shall carry a minimum of NGN 5,000,000 professional indemnity insurance coverage for the duration of the engagement.
- All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Abuja, FCT, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18, LFN 2004).
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
6. Commencement and Delivery
The Speech Therapist shall commence all services no later than 1 July 2025 at the Abuja Children's Development Centre premises, Wuse II, Abuja, FCT, Nigeria. The Speech Therapist is expected to be physically present at the centre for all scheduled sessions and shall not delegate or subcontract any portion of the services outlined in this Purchase Order without prior written consent from the centre's management.
