This Purchase Order is issued by Berlin Analytics & Data Solutions GmbH for the procurement of a qualified Statistician to provide specialized statistical consulting, data analysis, and quantitative research services. The Statistician shall perform all duties and deliverables in accordance with the professional standards recognized in Germany Berlin, including compliance with the German Federal Statistics Act (Bundeszentralamt für Statistik regulations) and applicable data protection requirements under the GDPR as implemented in Germany.
The Statistician engaged under this Purchase Order shall possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative discipline, along with a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, Bayesian inference, and multivariate data analysis. The Statistician must be fluent in German and English to effectively communicate with all stakeholders located in Germany Berlin.

- Acceptance: This Purchase Order shall become binding upon written acceptance by the Service Provider. The Statistician's engagement is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and verification of academic credentials as required under German professional regulations.
- Performance Location: All services under this Purchase Order shall be performed primarily in Germany Berlin. The Statistician is expected to be physically present at the buyer's premises in Berlin for a minimum of three (3) days per week, with the remaining days available for remote work from any location within Germany Berlin.
- Quality Standards: The Statistician shall adhere to the highest professional standards of statistical practice as defined by the German Statistical Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Statistik) and international ISO 9001 quality management principles applicable to data services in Germany Berlin.
- Confidentiality and Data Protection: The Statistician shall comply with all provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All data processed under this Purchase Order shall be stored and processed exclusively within Germany Berlin or the European Economic Area.
- Intellectual Property: All statistical models, analyses, reports, and methodologies developed by the Statistician in the course of fulfilling this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive property of Berlin Analytics & Data Solutions GmbH upon full payment.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with a written notice period of sixty (60) days. In the event of material breach, termination may be effected immediately in accordance with § 314 BGB.
- Payment: Invoices shall be submitted monthly. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account specified by the Service Provider within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. Late payments shall incur interest at the statutory rate under § 288 BGB.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government mandates, or public health emergencies affecting operations in Germany Berlin.
- Compliance: The Statistician warrants that all services rendered under this Purchase Order shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal Republic of Germany, the state of Berlin, and the European Union.
