This Purchase Order is issued by Société Africaine de Recherche et Développement (SARD) to procure the professional services of a qualified Statistician for a comprehensive data analysis and statistical modeling engagement. The Statistician shall be engaged to perform advanced quantitative analyses, design sampling frameworks, develop predictive statistical models, and produce detailed analytical reports in support of SARD's ongoing agricultural yield optimization project based in the Abidjan metropolitan area and surrounding regions of Ivory Coast.

The Statistician engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following tasks in full compliance with the professional standards set by the Ordre des Statisticiens de Côte d'Ivoire:

• Develop a statistically rigorous sampling plan covering at least 500 agricultural households in the Abidjan, Grand-Bassam, and Yopougon districts of Ivory Coast.
• Design and implement a mixed-methods data collection instrument combining structured questionnaires with geospatial data layers.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, multivariate regression, and time-series forecasting using industry-standard statistical software.
• Produce a minimum of three interim progress reports and one comprehensive final report, all to be submitted to SARD's Abidjan headquarters.
• Deliver a two-day in-person training session for SARD staff at the SARD office located at 12 Boulevard de la Paix, Cocody, Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
• Provide a minimum of 30 days of post-delivery technical support via email and telephone for questions arising from the statistical findings.

1. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, including the Ivorian Commercial Code and applicable labor regulations for professional service providers operating in Abidjan.
2. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three installments: 30% upon signing of this Purchase Order, 40% upon delivery of the interim statistical report, and 30% upon final acceptance of all deliverables. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the vendor's account at Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire, Abidjan branch.
3. Commencement Date: The Statistician shall commence work no later than 1 July 2025. The total project duration shall not exceed 120 calendar days from the commencement date.
4. Confidentiality: The Statistician agrees to maintain strict confidentiality over all data, methodologies, and findings obtained during the engagement. A separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) shall be executed prior to the commencement of work.
5. Intellectual Property: All statistical models, code, reports, and analytical outputs produced under this Purchase Order shall become the exclusive property of SARD upon full payment.
6. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 15 days' written notice. In the event of early termination, SARD shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date.
7. Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, and failing mediation, through the competent commercial courts of Abidjan.
8. Compliance: The Statistician warrants that all work shall comply with the data protection regulations of Côte d'Ivoire (Loi n° 2013-450) and the ethical guidelines of the Ivorian statistical profession.

This Purchase Order constitutes a formal and binding procurement document. By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this document. The Statistician services described herein are specifically procured for use in and around Ivory Coast Abidjan, and all on-site activities shall be conducted within the jurisdiction of the Abidjan metropolitan area unless otherwise agreed in writing.

This Purchase Order is valid for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Any modifications to the scope, pricing, or timeline must be documented in a written amendment signed by both parties. This document is issued in two (2) original copies, one for each party, both bearing equal legal validity under the laws of Côte d'Ivoire.
