Scope of Work – Statistician Engagement in New Zealand Auckland

This Purchase Order authorises the engagement of qualified Statistician professionals by Pacific Statistical Consulting Group to deliver comprehensive statistical services to Te Aka Data Analytics Ltd. The Statistician team shall be based in New Zealand Auckland and shall report directly to the Procurement Director. The scope encompasses the design, execution, and interpretation of statistical analyses for a multi-phase clinical research programme. The Statistician is expected to maintain full compliance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, the Health Research Ethics Committee (HREC) guidelines, and all applicable data protection regulations within New Zealand Auckland. All statistical methodologies employed by the Statistician must adhere to international best practices as outlined by the Royal Statistical Society and the New Zealand Statistical Association.

Terms and Conditions

1. This Purchase Order is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the District Court of New Zealand Auckland.
2. The Statistician services described herein are non-transferable. Pacific Statistical Consulting Group shall not subcontract any portion of the Statistician engagement without prior written consent from Te Aka Data Analytics Ltd.
3. All deliverables produced by the Statistician, including but not limited to statistical models, code, reports, and datasets, shall become the exclusive intellectual property of Te Aka Data Analytics Ltd. upon full payment.
4. The Statistician shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of NZD 5,000,000 throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
5. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed under the New Zealand Interest on Debts Act 1971.
6. The Statistician shall attend all project meetings scheduled in New Zealand Auckland at a minimum of two (2) sessions per month. Travel within the Auckland metropolitan area is included in the contracted rates.
7. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, the Statistician shall complete all in-progress deliverables and provide a full handover of statistical work-in-progress.
8. All personal data processed by the Statistician in the course of this engagement shall be stored on servers located within New Zealand Auckland and shall not be transferred outside New Zealand without explicit written authorisation.
9. This Purchase Order supersedes all prior quotations, proposals, and verbal agreements between the parties regarding the Statistician services described herein.
10. The Statistician shall comply with all workplace health and safety obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (New Zealand) while operating on the premises in New Zealand Auckland.

Acceptance and Authorisation

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, and scope of work outlined in this Purchase Order for the Statistician services to be delivered in New Zealand Auckland. This document constitutes a binding commercial agreement upon execution by both authorised representatives.
